Let us 2 door-ers have another option, let us get the Bestop twill soft top instead, and a credit, or choose vinyl for a bigger credit!
Or...

option a: Get the vinyl soft top and keep your MIC top order, and get it when they figure it out. They can opt to charge for the headliner again. $0-500 add option.

option b: Forgo MIC hard top, get the twill bestop $0-500 credit

option c: Forgo MIC hard top, get the vinyl bestop $1000-1500 credit

Lol considering the mic top was only a $695 option

I think Ford owes us a quality product and if they need to shut the production down to get this sorted then so be it. I don't get my whitey tighties all wadded up like a lot of people here because I didn't get my build date yet. But whenever that day comes or year that I do get my Bronco and I see poor workmanship and they didn't get these problems sorted out, then I will get my whitey tighties all wadded up😠 after spending 50k!

Speak for yourself!

(btw, still send alcohol)
We’ll just put your alcohol in a sippy cup or we’ll just fill up your fish bowl your head floats in.

Suffering? Nobody is being forced to buy a Bronco and last I checked having the opportunity to buy an overpriced toy wasn't a life or death situation. Honest answer.
I agree. Its just a car. I've probably said it a half dozen times on this forum.

Are you healthy?
Is your family healthy?
How are your relationships with the people who matter most to you?
Are you financially secure?

The rest is just frosting on the cake. Its a car. Big freaking deal.

To those who have their fingers crossed that their Bronco will arrive before their current car expires or breaks and causes a fortune to fix, that's a reasonable complaint. But its still not the end of. the world.

Nobody buys a Bronco because they need one. This vehicle is all about wants. Wants can wait.

At this point I think we are all a bit down about how this is rolling out. I’m not looking to point fingers or complain about this or that, there are plenty of threads for that. What I’m wondering is what could Ford do to ease our suffering? What plausible or reasonable offering of gratitude could they make towards making things “right” that wouldn’t get them flamed for trying?
They have tried a couple of hundred thousand Ford points, they threw in free headliners and they reluctantly added the connectors for the hard top. What could be next?

My 1st thought would be X-Plan for all pre 3/2021 orders. Some manufacturers do free oil changes or maintenance for a bit which wouldn’t be terrible either.

*I’m not saying they will do anything, I’m also not saying they have to do anything. I’m only asking if there would be something they could do to dissolve some the the ill will.

If my bronco shows up with a box of sweet tasting Cubans in the glove box and a cask of bourbon in the back, I will smile light a cigar, pour a glass of bourbon with my dealer and smirk and say fu&k yes to Ford!
I think there has been some mistake. Those things are already included in the Lux package. LOL

At the very least, weekly updates would be nice...
I agree. Every Thursday everyone should receive an email with an estimated date of when their Bronco will be in production. With all the statisticians and forecasting that Ford does, with all current commodity and supply chains issues as they currently are, they can certainly give us all an estimated date. And every Thursday we either get the "Your Bronco is scheduled for production " or "your estimated build date is... and will change every week until... and this is only a guesstimate". I would just like to know an approximate time frame. A month? Six months? A year? Two years? Give me something.

X-plan for any order pushed to MY22. That would go a long way.

Savings on X-plan for Bronco is only a few hundred at best on a lower trim, but per the X-plan rules, dealers can't charge any additional ADM or Dealer Prep fees, AND limits their Doc fee to $100.

That immediately addresses the "dealers are going to screw us over if and when Ford ever actually builds these things fears"

From a communications side,
Instead of generic "stay pumped" e-mails. Send a weekly e-mail that says:
We have built XXXX customer Broncos
We have delivered YYYY customer Broncos
There are ZZZZ remaining customer Broncos on order.

As a publicly traded company, most of that will end up in the quarterly report anyway. A little detail would go a long way.

A great interest rate would be of value to most buyers.

Price protection was good enough for me. Everything costs more now and these Broncos are no different.
