I had a big problem with screen lag and sometimes black screen. Turning all family IPHONES CarPlay off (i.e. turning the phone setting off, not the vehicle) solved that problem. Never had the vertical lines. Did the dealer get to see the vertical lines?

Yeah, I don't want to blame CarPlay, but the absence of that has created a trouble free environment. You could blame the iPhone SE (2nd Gen) or the iPhone 13, but you'd think CarPlay should be able to handle 500 tracks of music. OR NOT. IDK.

I get the second one (with doors on) when one of the doors doesn't close all the way, but usually there's a small red icon of a door above the "N". As I recall I think I get the warning chime 3 times (since the little door icon is hard to see) before I get the "Transmission not in park"

Purchased '24 OBX in April and we noticed the same thing. Air was cool even with a/c off. Bronco is garage parked, so it's never hot a startup, so maybe that was part of it. Now that it's 112 during the day, the a/c is on.
