Thanks much. Watched you video, very good. Does it cover the trail beginning to end? We’re going to be in the Ouray area late July and were thinking about that trail.
Thanks again. Karl
I’m thinking about getting a 360 degree camera, probably the GoPro Max 2 as I’m already invested in GoPro’s ecosphere with Black 11 and 12 cameras. Does anyone have experience with the three brands on the market. How & where do you use it, do you like it, length of an selfie stick you use...
Pictures indeed tend to mute things. But like I told you in another thread, just keep doing what you’re doing and there’ll come a day when something like that won’t intimidate you. You will just slowly, precisely and carefully go right up it.
Tyler, I’d guess the only folks that can answer your question difinitively are the folks that make the tops. The rest of us can only speculate. In my case, I have accessories that utilize many of the holes you mention including Mountains2 Metal attic shelf and Goat cross brace stiffener.
I actually bought a 1/4” drive torque wrench when I installed the PPE pan and new filter. Even removing the fill plug when trans is up to temp isn’t all that difficult once you figure out the exact way to precisely put your hand on the plug w/o burning yourself (and get over the fear of burning...
Folks either love or hate the KO2. Me, I like them. I wish I could post the video, but it’s too big. Pic is on Fins & Things in the next low spot after Clifford’s Climb just after a rain. Took my shoes off and waded before driving through. I came from left side of pic and made about 110...
If you’re like me, as you make more trips to Moab, your confidence and driving skills will improve and you’ll do more difficult trails. You’ll get better at picking lines, understand which line is two door or four door friendly, and choosing lines that are 33” tire friendly. Clearly, 35” tires...
Didn’t read entire thread, but mine would be ARB twin cylinder compressor, Talons Garage transmission skid and Zroadz rock rails. I have a stash of things I wish I hadn’t bought too.
I replaced leaking oem SAS Bilsteins with 6112‘s at the lowest clip position about a year ago, well before parts were available for the recall. Wanted minimal or no lift. Handling is ok, but I’m not impressed with the ride in any situations. Driving Moab trails, I need to go to 16# tire...
I’ve been on a roll lately, ie rear control arm armor a few days ago and this afternoon, spark plugs. An easy job, with just a bit of extra effort required on #4. 72k miles.
Thanks. Yes, my skid plates get used. The side in the pic went right on. Driver’s side required some not so subtle persuasion to get the factory plating/strengthening back into its proper position so the Turn skid would fit properly. Should’ve taken a pic before putting the skid on, but I...
