First few times always seem like a pain, but it gets easier. There’s a little pointy thingy in the tool kit the you can screw into the bottom hinge bolt hole that you may find helpful . Tried it a few times, but don’t use it anymore. Just make certain you have the window down, if not, door...
Jay, welcome to the forum and your new Bronco. Lots of really knowledgeable folks here. Re: your question, don’t know the answer as I’m a stock badlands Sasquatch w/ 35’s and intend to stay that way. Every several days someone asks about the largest tire size that fits a given situation...
Winch was on for 18 months and never used. Decided it would be wise to add the LOD brackets, which I did a month ago. I’m an old Boy Scout, generally always prepared. The brackets fit into that category. Now I don’t have to worry.
I followed that thread early on but somehow lost track of it. It told me everything I wanted to know. I wouldn’t have started this one had I seen it first. Thanks for reminding me. Now I’m even more excited that we may have our hardtop before our trip west in July.

I haven’t driven with the top down since the install. Getting the top down is a bit of struggle. You have to lower the shelf and then carefully manipulate the canvas folds around the struts that hold the shelf up. Installation instructions detail that process. One of the top bows gets very close...
