  1. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

I see clearly that you are ignoring the word "planned" and focusing on "spy shots." The Motor Trend writer is being a bit cheeky but saying the same thing you did. The Ford folks were out there with full expectation that they were going to be videoed and photographed and it will be posted all...
  2. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

Yeah. Solid axle is still ideal for crawling but ultra4 is really showing what 4x4 IFS can do. So much so, that we’re starting to see more 4wd trophy trucks. Really, you can’t even put a 37” a jeep d44 (properly) without trussing the housing and swapping out for chromo shafts. That’s why I feel...
  3. I hope Ford is listening.

hope so! I'm assuming they already thought of my concerns lol.
  4. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

This is a spy photo This is a display
  5. I hope Ford is listening.

I'm going out on a limb and saying that the nickle an diming won't be done by ford upfront. (Maybe the dealers) Allegedly, ford has so many accessories that will be available that they'll make a good chunk there. I may be way off on that one. BUT I truly believe the make-it break-it will be in...
  6. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

We all know the media wouldn’t augment the truth to grab headlines. That’s my point. Ford knows these vehicle can handle this stuff so they let them loose as part of marketing campaign. Of course they brought a Jeep along. But spy shots? Come on. They’re on full display.
  7. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

Do we have any confirmation that any of this (Rubicon/Moab) is a demonstration or is this just the most analyzed/critiqued wheeling trip ever? I do understand that this is Ford’s marketing at work and it’s a grassroots marketing campaign/ photo op. My point being, this appears to be a few guys...
  8. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

This! ^ Put the same tires on all vehicles, have the same driver in all vehicles, make sure it's 100% rock (no sand, water, mud to change the conditions.) Make sure it's the exact same line. Make sure they have the same cargo/ fuel level. Let the driver do the obstacle 3 times (minimum) in...
  9. Video: 2021 Bronco vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Crawling Back-to-Back at Moab

Seeing them wheel these things is fun and everyone keeps dissecting these videos to try to gather little nuggets because it's fun. But don't get carried away with it. There is no competitive edge displayed and there was zero articulation needed on this obstacle. I'm guessing they brought the...
  10. Watch the 2.3L Bronco reverse up 37 degree Hummer Hill at Moab

All it means is if you have traction, you can go up things. Moab has tons of traction. exhibit a Sorry. Replied to wrong post A second ago
  11. Moab Treat For 4-Door Bronco Sasquatch Fans (Steep Climb & Descent Action)

Could have been innocent for the reason you stated but 80%+ rockcrawling pictuers have the trees growing sideways and the clouds going the wrong way. funny things, although it’s trick photography, it actually represents the angle more accurately.
  12. Moab Treat For 4-Door Bronco Sasquatch Fans (Steep Climb & Descent Action)

Funny how the clouds shifted angle so abruptly. Almost as if someone turn the camera to make it look more steep. But that couldn’t be. ?
  13. Videos & pics: Even more Bronco prototypes converge on Moab + Rock Crawling Videos

Looks to be the same cover as the one the turn assist video. May just be thinking too hard about this.
  14. Videos & pics: Even more Bronco prototypes converge on Moab + Rock Crawling Videos

I mean it would be good imagery and if it could be done. Just wouldn’t be truly “Wheeling it”
  15. Videos & pics: Even more Bronco prototypes converge on Moab + Rock Crawling Videos

I’d love to see them here but I’m not sure Katemcy or Wolf Caves would make them look very good. Tons of traction but tight and technical. I mean there’s mild trails there but when you’re on those you’re not really wheeling these places. Would be crazy to take a vehicle like these there...
  16. Moab Treat For 4-Door Bronco Sasquatch Fans (Steep Climb & Descent Action)

Yep. Don’t have to only like one thing. Fishing looks boring as hell but you don’t even have to be good at it to enjoy it.
  17. Videos & pics: Even more Bronco prototypes converge on Moab + Rock Crawling Videos

that’s the way to look at it! Just remember, doesn’t matter if it’s 7” of travel or 18”, at some point everyone carries a tire.
