So, as I've been making of list of stuff to eventually get, a radio keeps coming up as something I feel like I need. The catch is that I don't have an offroading group yet, and everything is waiting until my 7MT gets handled. Basically, I'm in the thinking about everything phase of stuff.
Do I...
I have a Badlands, and decided to go that way pretty early on when I started my search. I originally thought I'd get a Black Diamond, since it was basically a Badlands that hadn't gone all the way through puberty, but after thinking about what it gives up I decided to seek out F/R lockers, the...
How is driving with it? Its exactly what I want, but I'm always leery about adapters, heights, and stuff like that with a shifter. I bought something similar for my TT that has never been quite right.
@Hkak45 do you have a side picture? Or, do either of you have a measurement for the actual...

I went with Deutsch connectors since they are standard, waterproof, and easy to use. I used weather-seal heat shrink wire covers and butt splicers, and...
I've always taken the approach to find the best version of the vehicle I want, and then the add-ons and modifications are used to make what it is better (not to make it into something else). Equipment-wise my Badlands is very capable, and it will take me a long time to start using its real...
The few times I've noticed any kind of splash on the sides was like an inch or two just ahead of the rear wheel well, so the coverage is definitely there. I really like them, no issues, and they've grown to match the rest of the trim perfectly. I won't ever do anything to need them to be...
^ I'm torn, at that point I know its good form to put up your hood when winching, but I'd prefer to not have to deal with the hood in the case of a tough spot
I love my 7MT Badlands, HOSS 2.0 or 3.0 who cares? It rides well and stirring the gears is just glorious, if you want luxury get a Benz. I am getting close to 5k miles and with fresh oil, 93 octane, and nice spring weather this thing is happy to boogie
I'd love to see some kind of extended lever, or solenoid-based actuator to make it work without opening the hood and stuff like that. I love the retro looks, but when it comes to a winch its tough because getting an "easy" mod bumper add-on means the whole front end looks like a 1970's forest...
How well would they work as a straight swap on an otherwise stock Badlands? I have the optional beadlock wheels but want something else, and am hoping they will work fine (I have big mudflaps, but don't want to install the SAS fenders).
I'm really tempted to get a set, thank you!
^ Yep, same reason the engine runs at 1200rpm on cold days, it lowers to normal idle once the cat has gotten to temperature.
This thread is asking about deleting them to lower temps, and I was wondering if coolant temps seemed a bit high. The shutters exist to control engine warm-up and...
I've noticed my 7MT runs at 190F once up to temp, and this is winter/early spring with mixed driving. Isn't that 10-15F higher than what's typically desired?
I have under 5,000 miles on my Bronco and want to swap out my optional Badlands wheels, and was hoping someone around IL would want to trade a set of Everglades wheels for them.
I would be fine keeping the 33" KO2s if you want the 35"s, or maybe we could work out something to include tires. I'd...
I installed a set of Hella Black Magic 500s with @SPVPARTS mod bumper brackets, a @4x4TruckLEDs.com two plug 2-pin Deutsch harness, and the Hella 500 fused/relay harness that came with the 500s. I used a set of female Deutsch pigtails for the Hellas, used all-weather shrink wrap, and mesh...
