  1. 2500 Mile Road/Off Road trip in Badlands 2dr around Kanab UT, Great Wheeling and Scenery, and Driving Impressions

It feels perfectly fine to me, but I'm sure I'm a bit biased because the 2dr is the same wheelbase as an XJ Cherokee, and I've been wheeling and racing XJ's for close to 30 years and so am very used to that wheelbase. However, I was pleasantly surprised that it felt as good as it did. In one...
  2. 2 Door Seat Cover Options?

I used Carhartt Precision Fit seat covers. Nice covers, fit very well. Carhartt Precision Fit
  3. 2500 Mile Road/Off Road trip in Badlands 2dr around Kanab UT, Great Wheeling and Scenery, and Driving Impressions

It was the Rough Country 1" leveling kit. There are two thin spacers that go on top of the coilover, and one spacer that goes at the bottom mount. I only used the one spacer at the bottom mount, which is simple to install. There is a motion ratio with the IFS suspension, meaning the wheel...
  4. Stock Badlands with 315's fitment and flex

I did 315/70/17 Wildpeak A/T's on a +18 wheel. Used only the bottom spacer on a 1" leveling kit. The Bronco sits about perfectly level. Loaded up for a trip I just did in some views it did look very slightly down in the rear. I think a full one inch level kit would be too much. I did quite a bit...
  5. 2500 Mile Road/Off Road trip in Badlands 2dr around Kanab UT, Great Wheeling and Scenery, and Driving Impressions

We stayed in an Airbnb house. We had four vehicles, three of us stayed in the house and one was in their RV in an RV park. We were there in the spring and we had our RV.
  6. 2500 Mile Road/Off Road trip in Badlands 2dr around Kanab UT, Great Wheeling and Scenery, and Driving Impressions

We just finished a road trip from Bakersfield CA to Kanab UT to meet a few friends for some wheeling and exploring in the area. We have come to really like the Kanab area because there is great scenery, wheeling, and places to explore all around the town, and similar to going to Moab, we're...
  7. Is there a formula for lift height?

At this point I have the non-SAS flares, and no plans to change them. If I get too much mud etc thrown up I might consider it. I really prefer the look of the narrower non-SAS flares.
  8. Is there a formula for lift height?

Yes, perfectly. I installed just the lower part of the 1" leveling kit, nothing in the rear. It sits level, and actually with the rear loaded up with some gear the front could be just a touch higher than the rear. With the full 1" installed in the front the front would definitely be higher than...
  9. Don't like auto start stop

I did the same thing. Very glad I did.
  10. Moab Trails recommend?

Fins and Things, and Shafer Trail
  11. Moab Trails recommend?

    Gemini Bridges and Long Canyon
  12. Moab Trails recommend?

Yes, definitely Fins and Things, and I agree to do Hell's Revenge which you drive past to get to Fins and Things. If you want to do Fins and Things or Hell's Revenge, then I would highly recommend Poison Spider Mesa. Fun and some spectacular views. A couple of extremely nice drives are going...
  13. Hello From Rock Hard 4x4!

I remember way back when you guys first came out with the very nice bolt in XJ interior cage. Welcome aboard!
  14. 2.7L and 2.3L engine covers! JcrOffroad

Do they cut down on noise at all? We got one of the factory 2.3L engine covers to try it, but it doesn't cover the noisy direct injection fuel pump, so sent it back. This one covers it, but wonder if it decreases the noise.
  15. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

We didn't measure it, but the Bronco looks level. I have some tools, small air compressor, and a small refrigerator in the back, and the 35" spare tire. If the complete leveling kit had been installed then it would now be lower in the back.
  16. Show me your Bronco with polished wheels!

I just put 35's on the Bronco, and I think these tires look better with those wheels than with the stock 33's. Went with 315/70 Falken Wildpeak AT's.
  17. Paint protection film PPF -- considering XPEL for Bronco Raptor

Understand your point, but disagree that it's automatic. Sounds like a sales job to me. The guy who did mine did those things, but it was quick because the paint was in excellent shape. Paint correction on a 2 year old car is going to be different than on a brand new car. It's kind of...
  18. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Yes, just the lower part, at the bottom of the shocks. And yes, we did an alignment afterwards. Any time the height is changed an alignment needs to be done. Plus, we had the tie rods apart to add the sleeves, so two reasons to do an alignment. Next is to correct for tire size, and shut off the...
