Typical, salesmen are useless or something less than that. My dealers allocation for '21 is 95 units out of 200+ orders. I don't know where I sit, but the simplicity of my build may let me slip in the door for '21. If not, worst case I'm looking at March-April.
I have a call into the lady handling all things Bronco at my dealer. She will get back to me eventually and I'll ask. I really want to know if she has hers yet because she was third in line behind her GM and somebody else. I need to see it in person.
I'm getting a Base non-squatch. Whenever I actually get to see one, I'll know what to do about the tires. I am thinking 32" BFG ATs on the factory steelies will be just fine and I won't have to do any lift or other mods.
I think you HAVE to get a Base with the manual to be able to tow it. That is the only model with a neutral position for the transfer case (as I understand it). SAS should be okay.
My reservation is with Maxwell in Austin (11/28). They called me in December to do the order and I got there and they had me with a Bronco Sport (their fault). They called me in February to do the order and I got there and they said, sorry we're only doing orders for people who reserved in...
So this is good for determining the constraints based on packages and equipment. What is the overall view? I would like to know out of ALL of the '21 orders (FE and everybody who ordered on or before 3/16+/-) what percentage will be in production with VINs by 11/30?
You can sell it on facebook marketplace as-is for more money than you think. Buy a motorcycle to get you to the new Bronco. I am in Austin also. My Bronco dealer is Maxwell. My daily driver has 160,000 miles on it and I am hoping there is something left of it when I get my Bronco around the...
Do the paperwork with your dealer in advance and I'll pick it up for you and drive it until you get back from your trip. I'll take real good care of it.
On my F250 I have to run within 10 psi of max to avoid the front end death shake. On my wife's LR4 I have to run within 10 psi of max because the damn thing weighs as much as the F250.
That sou
The first time the dealer called me in to do the actual order, I went in and they had me down as a Bronco Sport order (it was not). The second time they called me in to do the order, I got there and the salesman said there had been a mistake and they were only doing orders for people...
My dealer has a person whose job is handling all of the Bronco orders. She ordered one for herself and is very helpful and knowledgeable. The salesmen are USELESS or something less than that.
Gives me hope. I have a Base 2dr VB 2.3L Manual coming (probably early '22). Will probably add slightly taller AT tires and may eventually paint the steelies black.
