I just gave my '08 Mercedes C350 with 166K miles to my son in college. My new daily driver will be my '05 F250 with 153K miles that I bought brand new and has never been a daily driver. At least when my Bronco gets here I'll get a bump on MPG. Res. 11/2020, Re-ordered 10/2021. Base 2dr, 2.3L...
@mpmcgaughey when the MIC top is your only constraint item there is not much you can do but wait. With my 11/2020 reservation for a base 2dr non-squatch, I am hoping for a build in the 1st half of '22.
Still waiting for a build schedule for my Base 2dr., 2.3L manual with roof rack and front bumper. Since MIC 2.0 is going on, I should not have anymore constraints. Reservation 11/20. Re-order for MY22 10/21.
Since 2dr are only 19% of total orders, Ford should be able to catch up now with MIC 2.0. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself. Base 2dr, 2.3L manual, non-squatch. Res. 11/20, re-ordered for '22 10/21.
@texashoya I am waiting for my nearly bone stock base 2dr. also through Maxwell Ford. November '20 reservation, March '21 order and now October '21 re-order for a MY22. Base, 2dr., 2.3L Manual, Velocity Blue, front bumper, roof rack, aux switches.
Dude walks into a dealership in October without a reservation, gets a 2022 build scheduled two weeks later. My build. 11/20 reservation, 3/21 order, 10/21 re-order. 2dr base, velocity blue.
I did this with my 1984 Bronco when I was 20 years old. Not one of the smartest things I ever did. When I jumped off the tailgate with it on my shoulders I thought there was a 50/50 chance either the roof or I would break on impact. We both made it. I think those roofs were about 120#.
Beautiful vehicle, beautiful post. Glenn Campbell on the stereo can put you in the right state of mind. I can't wait to get my Base 2dr, Velocity Blue with roof racks. Re-ordering soon for '22.
