  1. What’s the ONE piece of advice you’d give to a new Bronco owner?

As with any vehicle, break it in gently, change the oil very early and often, never run it hard until it’s broken in, never run it hard until it’s up to full operating temperature, and anytime you start your vehicle drive it long enough to make sure it gets up to full operating temperature. I’ve...
  2. Long Range Fuel Tank 30 gallons ordered [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

I haven’t read through this entire thread, but depending on how the sending unit is situated, I would assume you would just have a full tank much longer and then eventually the tank would start to show less and less fuel until it was empty.
  3. Real world gas mileage

About 18 with the 2.7 Sasquatch and about 21 with a 2.3 and a 7 speed Sasquatch. That’s where I’ve gotten them since buying them from new with a mix of driving. It’s not to say I don’t have a little fun once in a while, but I’m pretty easy on things and like to coast to stops as much as possible...
  4. I love the way the 2025 2.3Ecoboost sounds in this Bronco!!

The last thing anybody wants to hear is a four-cylinder or a six cylinder so I would love to have some fake engine noise in my 25 bronco that has the 2.3. My wife has a platinum Explorer with a 3.0 in it and it has tons of fake engine noise, which actually sounds good but in a nice vehicle like...
  5. 2026 2 Door 2.7 not available?

I have a 2023 two-door with a 2.7 in Sasquatch and I have a 2025 2 door with a 2.3 and the seven speed. The 2.3 is more than adequate, but it’s a complete slug compared to the 2.7. Also, I have a 2.7 in my F150 and it completely destroys the 5.0 coyote in my previous F150, which my son now...
  6. 4H in slip mode - strange or not behavior

You’re probably driving in 4H on streets that were not completely snow covered and that causes the system to bind which is not good. It can cause resistance that causes you to slow down.
  7. Kilometres to empty inaccurate reading

My experience with all my Ford vehicles has always been you have at least 25 and often times 50 miles left once you get down to 0 miles to empty. I assume Ford does this to protect people from themselves.
  8. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

Working it with our small dump and about 2,000 pounds of white rock.
  9. Gear selector not illuminated

I can’t tell if this is a serious post. The gear selector is clearly shown on the dash right in front of your face. And to pop a vehicle in drive you just release it from Park and let go of the button and pull the selector back and it will automatically stop in drive. Neutral is one click...
  10. 2dr roof rack recommendations

I’m happy with the OEM rack. I’ve hauled lumber and ladders up there.
  11. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

I would order one today. I would settle for a coyote, but my 2.7 F150 destroys my 5.0 F150 so I would be doing it for the sound of the engine only at that point I guess.
  12. 7MT owners - how often do you downshift to 1st?

On my older manual transmission vehicles I live at around 1500 RPMs because it doesn’t stress the engine by lugging it or needlessly over revving at that point. On the bronco it seems like it’s happier around 2500 RPMs because it’s pretty gutless below 2000. Like others have said, do what the...
  13. Practical switching between 2H and 4H?

Wheels straight and foot off the gas at any speed in the way to go.
  14. Bronco spare tire cover recommendations?

I’ve ordered several from different companies and have been disappointed with the quality and sent them back each time. I ended up going with the one provided by Ford because it fit the best and didn’t flop around like the other others. However, it’s not cheap and to my knowledge you can’t get...
  15. 4 years later - a 10/10 and nearly flawless

I’ve been lucky because I have a 2019 F150 with the 2.7 in it and it has been a beast. Pushing 200,000 miles and the only thing I’ve done to it is a couple of sets of tires and lots of oil changes. It even has original brake pads.
  16. Towing HEAVY - don't sleep on the 2.3

Towing limitations with an eco-boost engine are never limited by the engine. It’s always limited by the chassis. Even in my F150s my 2.7 eco-boost will flat out embarrass V8 trucks when towing from a power perspective. I have a 2.3 and a 2.7 bronco by the way, and the 2.3 is adequate but the 2.7...
  17. Tie down “systems” for factory roof rack

    I’m interested as well.
  18. How rare is my Bronco

Rare is the same as nobody wanted one in a lot of cases. However, I love my 2 doors and they will be sought after in the future. Especially after all these families/couples who had to settle for a 4 door to accommodate kids grow older and want a 2 door.
