Can any of you forscan wizards figure out how this is enabled and share the line changes so other can avoid buying an adapter?
yep, no trick, just another set of hands and a lot of on and of and moving the brackets around. the biggest pain is the front latch alignment; 2 years later and mines still not dead on.
I guess I can trim the top, I didnāt want to take it to ford because I worry about the turnaround time for something like this; thanks for the suggestion.

I just wired my new fog lights straight into the plug, black is ground, the other is power. I sealed with electrical tape so if I ever revert (no idea why I would) I can just unplug and replug.
