  1. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

It'll sell like hotcakes and people will be on here telling us it's better than a 2door.
  2. Spontaneous windshield crack — anyone else?

Yeah I've driven Jeeps and I have an old Scout and they catch a lot of rocks so I'm used to that. This seems different though. I searched with magnification and I can't find any evidence of an impact.
  3. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

^Exactly! The problem is the design drift away from intended purpose to better suit the majority that should probably just be buying a different vehicle in the first place.
  4. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

I hope you're smart enough to realize that your Raptor to Bronco comparison is meaningless. That's an apple and an orange. A 2 door Raptor would be that much better.
  5. New Bronco variant or special edition to debut at 2026 Detroit Auto Show (Jan 14-25) .... any guesses what Ford has up their sleeve?

When engineers were originally designing jeeps and broncos and scouts it's not as though four door vehicles didn't exist or that it would have been some kind of ground-breaking idea to include more doors. They designed them to have the wheelbase as short as possible because --duh--it was the...
  6. Spontaneous windshield crack — anyone else?

I’m driving through town the other night, no other vehicles around, temperature in the 20s, and the sound of the windshield cracking scared the cap out of me. Sounded like a rock hitting the windshield — but louder. No impact, though, just a crack. wtf?
  7. Color matched Sasquatch wheels.

I hate the almost-but-not-quite color matched rings on my Sasquatch wheels (silver bronco). My attempt to remove them to paint them black…failed.
  8. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Yes. 100%. Even though initially it may not have been your fault (not everyone is lucky enough to have a father) you’ve had enough time to correct the deficiency.
  9. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Ask someone who needed a new diesel engine because of the idiotic DEF nonsense how good hearted the EPA is. They’re towards the top of the list of useless alphabet agencies who continually overstep. So let me get this straight — the Op modified his vehicle, shifted it incorrectly, and is not...
  10. Missed downshift = Scary situation in traffic 7MT

Tell us you can’t drive stick without telling us you can’t drive stick.
  11. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

Thumbs are definitely too low. Appears to be wronghanded, too.
  12. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

You know this is TV because in real life, homeboy would be drawing fire away from that $100K Bronco not taking cover behind it!
  13. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

Me too haha. Looks goofy...but not nearly as goofy as the Broncovans.
  14. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

International was smart — when they produced a 4door vehicle they didn’t try to pass it off as a Scout; they called it by a different name. I remember when the 4door “wranglers” dropped. So hideous and I thought why bother. Then the Jeep trucks came out and they were just hilarious. But as...
  15. Moardoor Monday: Let's See Them Four Doors

The children of boomers were teenagers decades ago. You’re a little mixed up. Like calling a ferret a marmot and assuming it’s an aquatic mammal because some nihilists threw it in a bathtub with you. Nobody in the backseats needs a window to roll down when there’s no top.
