  1. Recommendation for Adding Lighting to Brighten Roads?

I didn't comb through four pages of replies so this has probably been said, but the best and easiest way to light your road better is to replace your dim factory headlights. You might find that aftermarket lights give you all the light you need.
  2. Trail Ready Checklist: What’s on your non-negotiable list??

I keep all my ropes, soft shackles, etc. in a Watershed drybag (the only bags that are actually dry) so they can be outside the vehicle in the elements without being in the elements.
  3. Trail Ready Checklist: What’s on your non-negotiable list??

i can’t believe that it took until post 17 for somebody to remember the shlt tickets!
  4. Snow recovery advice - pulling vehicles stuck in snow?

Definitely an ethical conundrum. I’ve pulled many people out of the snow over the years, having always lived in snowy places and having a natural inclination to help (and a Duramax). Likewise, long ago, I’ve been helped out by others. It is a truly sad state of affairs when no good deed goes...
  5. First Look at 2026 Bronco Base Sasquatch & Badlands at Detroit Auto Show

Those A-pillar handles are terrible. If you're too short or old to get in and need a handle up higher you can easily install a soft one from the roll cage. That eyesore in my sightlines is a dealbreaker. Are they removable with anything but a reciprocating saw?
  6. Seeking Advice: Dealership Joyrode My Bronco, Questionable Repairs, and No Support from Ford Corporate

Does Ford have a reputation to piss away? I’m sure I’ll take flames from some diehards for saying this, but when I bought a Bronco the fact that it was a Ford was a decent sized pill to swallow.
  7. Would you cancel a road trip this weekend with a Badlands (in forecasted winter storm)?

They are when they’re driving around in the snow and ice without proper rubber.
  8. Would you cancel a road trip this weekend with a Badlands (in forecasted winter storm)?

Not everyone has them and they don't help much if someone is sliding into you.
  9. Would you cancel a road trip this weekend with a Badlands (in forecasted winter storm)?

The only reason To go to Chicago is to get the heII away from Cleveland. Mistakes by lakes, both of them.
  10. Best aftermarket headlights?

Alpha Rex is the only manufacturer I could find that makes lights for my older Duramax. They are pretty impressive. I passed on the ARs for my Bronco because the others are supposedly a little brighter, but if I had it to do over again I’d probably go that way.
  11. Best aftermarket headlights?

They failed (to adequately light up the road) every time I turned them on. The dim OEM headlights are one of the major failings of the 6g.
  12. Best aftermarket headlights?

While I will agree that the aftermarket options all seem to have their issues, the OEM lights are dim AF. I’ve had Morimoto and now Form and the difference between each and the stock lights is yuuge. The Morimoto were RGB and some of the color specific leds failed leading to a portion of the...
  13. Tire question

Good opportunity/excuse to upgrade to a better set of tires.
  14. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

It’s understandable. Their rigs are goofylookin.
  15. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

This photo makes me so happy...makes me reconsider my anti-roof rack stance.
  16. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

I don’t have a mall to crawl, but I did have to get something at Walmart the other day.
  17. Two Door Tuesday Lets See Them Two Doors

Those lights in my field of view would drive me nuts. They're probably very effective there, though.
