  1. Custom vanity license plate for Bronco?

Somewhere in Washington State there's a BMW motorcycle with the plate [FYYFF]. Some say it stands for that little-known charity organization, "Foreign Youth Yearning For Freedom." Others say it stands for "F**k You, You F**king F**k!" Seeya ATB
  2. Placed order 2/12/22 Kendal Ford

I ordered my Bronco Outer Banks from Jeff Davenport at Kendal Ford on 1/11/22. Jeff was recommended to me by my service guy at Pierre Ford in Seattle. I would have ordered my Bronco from Pierre, but the difference in sales tax between King County and Snohomish County is around $660, so I had to...
  3. EDIT: I did something dumb in my Bronco today and really lucked out…Don’t mess with ice!

Reminds me of a bit of icy snow we had in the Snoqualmie Valley, way back when. It was snowing when we woke up. I called my boss to tell him I couldn't come in to work because of snow. He knew exactly what I was going to do on that day, and said "No prob." First thing I did was go outside to...
  4. Tricky Dick's Dirty Bronco

Lookin' good, man! Here's a quote from way back when: "Don't change dicks in the middle of a screw. Vote for Nixon in '72!"
  5. Both our 2022 Badlands MIC leak at car wash

Here's the song that my wife (then girlfriend) and I used to sing when we were riding in my MGA roadster with the top up and it started to rain: Oh no don't let the rain come down.
  6. Aux Upfitter Overhead Switches installed! - DIY writeup instructions & photos

Thank you for putting all this together. When originally ordering my Outer Banks, I figured I needed the sunglass holder more than the switches. That was on January 1, 2022, so I'm very early in the process. Then I started thinking about aftermarket fog lights to replace the ones I'd lose by...
  7. WldOne’s AMB OBX Build and Journal

    VERY nice.
  8. Does the 4 doors even matter for passenger space?

I've got my order in for a 4-dr Outer Banks. Checking out the "Build Your Bronco" web site, I see that the 2-dr front doors are longer than the 4-dr front doors. That can make a difference in ease of vehicle access if you're on old fart in a parking place at Safeway, or maybe even if you're a...
  9. took my first drive in the rain today... realized 2 things... theres no stalk on the right side of the wheel. and theres no single wipe option?

Looks like that left-side wiper control will work exactly the same as the one on my 2001 F-150 XLT, and I'm fine with that. My truck has over 222,000 miles on it and that wiper stalk has never given a lick of trouble. PRO-TIP: My wiper blades used to only work one way. On the upward sweep...
  10. 2021 Ford Bronco Break-In Period: 1,000 Miles / 1,600 KM

Will have to investigate this break-in info. Was it written by the lawyers? Or by the engineers? I have bought a number of new BMW motorcycles. The first was an R1150GS. I broke it in exactly as specified in the owner's manual. It always used oil for the whole time I owned it. My next BMW...
  11. You can't avoid WA RTA fees using >6K vehicle weight any longer

I'm so glad that we live in hippy infested Duvall! We are outside of the RTA Zone. We were outside of the mandatory vehicle tailpipe exhaust measurement zone when they were doing that, and we are also outside of the woodsmoke control zone. Awright!
  12. Is anybody else praying their current vehicle lasts long enough for the Bronco to be available?

Hi guys. This is my first post on the forum. The order date for my 2022 Outer Banks is 1/11/2022, so I guess I've got a while to wait. The Bronco will replace my 2001 F-150 XLT with the FX4 kit. What a great truck! She has just about 220,000 miles now and is starting to show her age just a bit...
