  1. Have you had Rear Camera Image recall fixed yet? Safety Recall Notice 23S48 / NHTSA Recall 25V273 / 25V273000

Oh man, that looks bad. I just got back from getting the 15k service on my Bronco mall crawler, and Greg, my service guy at Pierre Ford, says that the back camera is on order for my recall fix. So far I've never had a problem with my back camera not working. This picture definitely gives me...
  2. Proper sequence for 5 tire rotation

I've taken my truck in for service every 5,000 miles. I say "truck" because I've been doing this on my 2001 F-150 to the Pierre Ford Service Center since around 2002, and now I take my Bronco in to the same place and hand it over to Greg every 5,000 miles. I've got the service agreement, so it's...
  3. Check Brake System warning light on '22 OBX with 2.7 liter engine.

Bummer - I just tried to send a direct message to Ford Motor Company and it wouldn't go through. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Sorry about that. Still, if anybody knows anything about this, service bulletins, part numbers, whatever, please let me know. Thank you ATB
  4. Check Brake System warning light on '22 OBX with 2.7 liter engine.

Just got back from an 800-mile road trip from my secret HQ in the Snoqualmie Valley to the Columbia River Gorge area. It was a blast. My '22 OBX ran fine, except for one problem: Every so often (and I mean often), the warning bell would chime and the CHECK BRAKE SYSTEM warning would show up on...
  5. First serious road trip

We drove from Carson Springs Resort to Goldendale (both in Washington near the Columbia River), then back down into Oregon and west on I-84 and a whole bunch of other roads to Florence, Oregon on the coast. We're going to check out the exploding whale beach and the labyrinth festival. The day...
  6. Does anyone have an auto stop eliminator on their Bronco?

Plus, all I have to do if I want to reactivate my ASS is just push the button.
  7. Does anyone have an auto stop eliminator on their Bronco?

First mod I did to my 2022 Bronco OBX. I watched this video to figure out how to install it: . That's an old 1-Five-1 Garage video on the exact procedure for popping panels and whatever, so you can install the ASS Eliminator module. I was able to do it. That means that virtually anybody can do...
  8. New Outer Banks - what can’t I do?

I have a '22 Outer Banks. It's a mall crawler. The least knarly Bronco known to man. However, it is also the least likely Bronco to flip over in a roundabout. I've used it in "slippery" GOAT mode when driving home in snow or on ice. I think that it could get the holeshot in a drag race with my...
  9. Outer Banks w/Sasquatch - 4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder

My grandkid was a wrench at a toyota dealership - he really knows his way around modern vehicles. When it finally was time for me to pick up my new Bronco, the Ford dealership recommended extended warranty and service agreement. I was planning on the extended warranty, but hadn't really thought...
  10. Outer Banks w/Sasquatch - 4 cylinder vs 6 cylinder

I've got a '22 Outer Banks. V6, no Sasquatch. It's a total mall crawler. got the lux package and the leather seats. It goes great. Probably quicker than my 2001 F-150 with a 5.4 V8. The Sasquatch package definitely looks way cooler, but non-sasquatch wheels and tires give better mileage, quicker...
  11. Recommendation for a compact torx+ set

I've got a set of these under the seat on my BMW R1250RS. Flexible torx wrench set. Seeya ATB
  12. Used 4A for the first time......and got a burnt gear/gear oil smell

It's snowing here in Pugetropolis. My mall crawler (Outer Banks) is in 4A. Working fine. Been driving all over the place. No smoke, fire, or smells. Seeya ATB
  13. Using 4A when raining?

I use the SLIPPERY mode on pavement during knarley weather conditions. Heavy rain, snow, ice, etc. slippery mode activates 4A, and mellows out throttle response a bit.
  14. Tire rotation - include 5th wheel / spare tire?

Same here. When I took my OBX in for the first 5,000 mile service they did a 4-tire rotation. I assumed that it would be a 5-tire rotation, because that is what is recommended in the owner's manual. Oh well. I got out the Bronco jack and changed out the spare with the right rear. I have since...
  15. Another Lux question

No way for me to compare to the other options, but I really like the LUX features on my '22 OBX mall crawler. This vehicle works perfectly for what I need it for. Last Sunday I drove my wife into Seattle so she could attend a play at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. The Evergreen Bridge was...
  16. Fast Intentions 2.7L Axle-Back Exhaust AVAILABLE NOW!

UPDATE: I've had a Fast Intentions axle-back exhaust on my 2.7 liter Bronco OBX since January '24. I'm still glad I got it. I haven't walked away from my Bronco while it was running since installation of the exhaust. No "right-seat noise" from the wife, either, so I'd say it's just about...
  17. Sunglass storage solved!

OK - this is barely worthy of the Interior Modifications thread, but here goes: Up 'till now I've been storing my sunglasses in the console box. Major hassle getting them out and putting them back in that console, especially in traffic. I had originally ordered my Bronco with the sunglass door...
  18. In LOVE with the Bronco! Want to leave car...

I have a 2022 Bronco Outer Banks (OBX). Non-sasquatch. Bought it to replace a great 2001 F-150 4WD FX, which I ended up giving to my son. My OBX has the big screen, leather seats, and all the safety features. 2.7 liter engine. Gets about 17.5 mpg. I really like it. The only thing that I miss...
  19. Enough with the ducks

Dunno, man. I ride a mc, so I wave at all oncoming motor-powered two or three-wheeled vehicles that I see on our local roads. I don't wave at bicycles - F them. I give the same V-for-Victory wave for oncoming Broncos that I give for mc's. I don't wave at Jeeps F them (except for the old CJ-5s...
