You would have to drive and keep your electric car for 7 years before you break even with the carbon footprint created by the process of creating the battery that powers it. And until the grid's electricity has a lot more cleaner sources that power it you are just using non green ways to charge...

I was just going to say that. Instead of creating trims to fit a niche, put out a base model and let them pick the options. I would have a much different build if that were the case.

I agree. The Base Model grille is the best one IMO. I was disappointed when I ordered my Base that I could not upgrade to the Sig Lights until I actually saw a picture of the standard lights and realized they are still all LEDs on the front. LED tail lights would be great but a non issue for me.
