i was thinking, at some point, you'll be able to buy those black beauty rings and swap them on to the badlands or squatch wheels. That's the only difference, the inner part is already gloss black. I plan on doing that at some point.
yeah my dealer out here (westlake village, ca) said the same thing. He said they had a bronco and a bronco sport for training like two weeks ago. Said the bronco got driven in on a flatbed and the sport just got driven in to the lot. Didn't say much else aside that it was cactus grey.
yep. you can even squatch an OBX and just about have a wild track too, with better interior options. I keep going back and forth between the three but as of now wild track tis out because I'm not a fan of the sandstone interior.
It's really just a matter of sway bar disco or not. They want to market them as "the rock crawler" and the "dune scaler" but really, outside a few options, they are the same truck.
I love how people are like "that's not what it looks like in the shade" and show pictures of it under bright white factory lights to prove their point. ?
I'm in a similar boat. If they were to ada plain black leather interior, I would go with a blacked out wild track. With the wheels, emblems, grill and decals being black, it would be awesome.
Pretty sure this is my final plan:
Black 2-door Badlands
2.7 Auto
Leather seats
Lux package
Tube doors
Sasquatch (I go back and forth on this, as the 33s look pretty nice)
What I will add in the future:
Tube steps
White painted top
I sold my 2017 T/A 392 Challenger a few months back.
I also have an old muscle car and since we’re not driving too much lately ,I figured it’d be reliable enough until next year and it’d save me some money on car payments and insurance in the process, in addition to the money I had put in to the...
I’m in Westlake Village, Ca. (On the edge of the LA county).
I’ll drive it to record stores, movies and work (assuming I can by then) all while blasting good tunes.
Eventually, I’ll take it on some trips. I do plan on going to barker ranch in Death Valley (where the Manson family was caught)...
Does anyone think in the next few weeks to month, Ford may add some options that would still be available in the initial deliveries?
I wa just looking back at an old thread with photos of a pre-production Badlands and it seemed they were testing out a black out package of some kind. It had the...
I'll probably put tube steps on instead of rock rails and may change out grab handles to less colorful ones, but I guess that will depend when spare parts become available.
My dealer out here in CA said they had a bronco and a bronco sport on the lot a couple weeks ago for training purposes. Wish that was made public to reservation holders so they could have swung by if they wanted.
