I really think people are over exaggerating about the ride quality, just like they do about stickers, trim names and build and price dates.
I'm sure it will be perfectly fine. I will be doing the same. Unless you are super loaded, buying this as just an off-road toy is not practical.
How was that ever a theory? They opened immediately after the launch video, granted with some website issues, but they were open nonetheless and that was at like 5 or 6PST.
I reserved on 7/13 at about 7:40pm PST. My original email said my date was 7/14 but my reservation on the Ford site says 7/13.
My number is 10121xxx
It is for a 2-DR badlands. I wonder since people with FE seemed to show a different numbering system, if it essentially works like SKUS and all...
It'd be nice if ford would shoot photographs of each final interior option.
If that first image was outer banks, I'd go outer banks.
I assume it is what is in the video though, in which case I am going Badlands.
i don't think so, because look at the texture of that one....
whereas the one in the video looks like this....
It's super smooth which puts a lot of emphasis on the metallic paint where the early one that was pictured above has texture that makes the paint appear more dark brown as it takes...
didn't we have reports earlier on that some people that reserved like a day or two later had numbers lower than earlier reservations? If so, none of this means anything.
if outer banks actually looked like that, I might go outer banks.
but they changed the dash to some smooth, ugly bronze look.
Those seats look great, though.
So I’ve been going back trying to find pictures and can only find one shot of leather seats in a thread comparing it to the MGV.
Can anyone post or lead me to images/video of the leather seats and carpeted floors that’s not the materials walkthrough.
I feel like there was a Badlands with...
I live in the LA area and go to a lot of movies, concerts etc.
The bronco will fit in by being what I drive to these places. To me, it's just a cool vehicle and is something fresh and exciting compared to what I have and for years now.
Will I use it to off-road? Sure, a little but that's not...
I honestly think it will look best with black. It's a clear difference in material and color, so it looks most intentional. With some of the colors, it will be like "is that black, or grey? what is it?"
I also don't mind it because I plan on buying a painted white top when they are available so...
whatever was your first instinct.
I was all about shadow black out of the gate. I then though race red was it for a while, considered carbonized gray and cyber yellow and now after all that I am back to shadow black and am sticking with it.
Are there any recent interior photos of an OBX?
ive seen some shots where the dash looks smoothe and metallic (the walk through video) and some where it’s textured and not as metallic.
I like the idea of a script badge, but with the grille saying bronco, it’s overkill. If the grill was blank or said ford , it’d look good. But bronco x 3 on the front half of the car is too much.
