  1. Periodic driveshaft thud/clunk after releasing brake

Thank you! I prefer to keep an eye on this for now. My local dealership has a good service department so I’m not worried at this point.
  2. Periodic driveshaft thud/clunk after releasing brake

My bronco seems to have this issue now at 2000 miles. I can hear a very subtle thud right before or after stop, depending on the speed. It happens before full stop at garage speed. In normal driving, it happens after a full stop. Currently itā€˜s more or less just random so it’s not bothering me...
  3. Sad day for the pony, gracious for my wife

This is why I traded in my 23 Wrangler for my 24 Bronco. Thank god your wife and pups are safe.
  4. AC clutch cycling switch leak

Update. The dealership replaced the clutch cycle switch, the valve, and the o-ring, and recharge the system. So far so good, I will keep an eye on that leak. They also balanced my wheels to eliminate highway speed vibrations. I’m quite impressed by their service to be honest.
  5. AC clutch cycling switch leak

It’s the ac clutch cycling switch leaking so I change the title of the thread.
  6. AC clutch cycling switch leak

Ah yes! It’s the ac compressor, I check the part number on that part. I used the AC briefly two times this week, but haven’t used it for a while before this week. Now I wondering why it leaks…
  7. AC clutch cycling switch leak

Bingo! I think it’s the temp sensor connector leaking, I don’t see any coolant above that point. The connector already has some yellow-green buildups.
  8. AC clutch cycling switch leak

Thank you! I thought the grey stuff is just sealant. The antifreeze level in the reservoir dropped a bit compared to the level when I picked her up, now it’s slightly below min. I thought it’s just air in the cooling system but apparently it’s the leak.
  9. AC clutch cycling switch leak

Got back from a 300 mile trip today and climbed underneath the Bronco just checking things, found this yellow-green fluid on multiple parts. The fluid is odorless, but the color looks like antifreeze. Also, I found some grey color stuff along the front differential case, don’t know if it’s a...
  10. Help needed/ideas? Fog lights not working

Thank you, I will. However, it takes 4-6 weeks to ship my fog light…
  11. Help needed/ideas? Fog lights not working

Old thread but did you figure out the issue? I’m doing same thing as yours, have done the forscan settings and purchased the pigtail adaptor. I can detect voltage from the deutsch connector while the fog is on. Oracle fog light is on the way but this thread makes me nervous… Thank you!
  12. Planning on upgrade to raptor headlamp, control module?

That’s useful info, thank you! Then I need to find takeoffs or try non-OEM options.
  13. Planning on upgrade to raptor headlamp, control module?

This topic has been discussed in a few threads but the swapped raptor headlamps were takeoffs. If I buy a set of raptor OEM headlamps from Ford, do they come with the LED control module and ready for plug n play? I have seen people getting headlamps from ebay without the control modules and...
  14. Rattle engine/exhaust rattle

Do we Know the source of that humming noise? I started hearing it yesterday but not in every cold start. The hum disappears after the rpm drops from 1200 to 900 rpm.
  15. 2.3L Automatic Clunky Shifting

Mine is 2.3L auto Sasquatch and is like yours. P/N to R, P/N to D are clunky but ok, P to D is the strongest clunk. Shiftings are mostly ok, but the down shift to 1st can by clunky, I need to manage the way I brake to avoid a thrust right before the Bronco stops.
  16. Hard Shifting / Thrusting / Clunky Gears

Thank you! Yes, I will bring this up in my next oil change. Now I would just give her more miles to see if things change since I still have only less than 1000 miles.
  17. Hard Shifting / Thrusting / Clunky Gears

I would say I can feel the Bronco lurching forward, itā€˜s not very strong but definitely noticeable. It’s just not too annoying because I only get those shifts once or twice a day.
  18. Hard Shifting / Thrusting / Clunky Gears

Overall I feel satisfied with the shiftings, it’s not the smoothest one but is reasonable. However, I just realized that the N to D and P to D shift are jerky, I can feel the clunk every time I do the above shift, even when the transmission is warm. Is that a normal behavior? The tsb applies to...
  19. Hard Shifting / Thrusting / Clunky Gears

2.3 L Outer Banks Sasquatch here, currently 900 miles, mostly driven in town. I experienced a mild thrust right before the Bronco stops, feels like it's the 2-1 shift. It starts after a long highway driving at 800 miles and has been like that. It's more predominant in hard stops. If I brake...
  20. Interesting engine sounds after extended driving (~30 mins)

My new 2.3l at 500 miles sounds the same except for the click at the end of each rev. From what I learned the high pitched whine is from the transmission oil pump gear and it’s somehow treated as normal. Mine is not as loud but still can hear it when the car is about to stop, sounds like an...
