  1. 2024 Bronco Build and Price Now Live

Not if you wanted a manual transmission, only way to get mid/high/lux with a 7mt was to order a badlands.
  2. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Just under 2500 miles on the "D" rings now, still nice and quiet and shifting smoothly. It's been 70+ here most of the time but I've had a few mornings in the mid 50's recently with no noise.
  3. What rig / vehicle did you give up to get your Bronco?

Sold my 2011 BMW 328i touring to make room for my '22 Badlands. It was a pretty special car with super rare BMW performance aero bodywork, M performance exhaust, sport package, RWD (most are awd), black interior, etc... I do miss it sometimes, but every time I get in the Bronco I'm happy with...
  4. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

In case anyone wanted to hear it: I've got about 500 miles on the "D" synchros now. It has been above 60F all the time here so I don't have any cold weather experience with them yet, but it still shifts great and is completely quiet.
  5. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Nope... but I didn't really push too hard for one since I could split my driving between my wife's car and my old bmw project car. Other than the loaner thing the dealer was fantastic to work with. The 6 weeks it was there included everything from diagnosis (though I think they just took my word...
  6. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Just got my 22 badlands 7mt back after 6 weeks at the dealer. The noise I was experiencing wasn't terrible but definitely present on cold mornings. The paperwork confirmed that the TSB was done with the -D synchros. In the 50 miles I've driven so far it feels great, more or less the same as...
  7. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Just talked to the dealership today. While they have all the parts (including the updated synchros), they ran into a snag with a special tool they don't have available and are having trouble getting. Currently at 3 weeks since I dropped it off... originally they were optimistic it would be a...
  8. Bye bye Sasquatch wheels

I'm pretty sure that price is for colored trim rings, not the actual beadlock rings.
  9. Is the B&O really that bad?

I have a '22 badlands lux and I have zero complaints with it. In my opinion, it is noticeably better than the premium Harmon Kardon system in my previous BMW (2011 328i wagon). Is it a life changing aural experience? No... but I'm not a hardcore audiophile so for me it gets the job done no problem.
  10. Window auto index goes up before door is closed.

I have noticed the same on mine as well. After many years of only driving old German cars I have developed a habit of starting the car with the door open so I can hear if anything is wrong. If you start the engine with the door open, the window will pop up and then a few moments later move back...
  11. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

My trans noise is there but not that bad (22 badlands, 5800mi). For reference I can't really hear it with music playing, only makes notable noise on a cold start, and drives perfectly fine otherwise. Had the dealer take a look at it when I had the bronco in for an oil change and tire rotation on...
  12. Upcoming 2024 Tacoma fully revealed in design images 📸

I think it doesn't look too bad, the biggest question would be if they've fixed or even just improved the seating position. I was deciding between a Bronco and a Tacoma (4x4 and a manual trans were my must-haves) and ultimately the seating position of the Taco was terrible for me.
  13. Westin XTS rock sliders anyone have these?

Thanks! Sounds like these would be a good fit for what I'm looking for.
  14. Westin XTS rock sliders anyone have these?

My wife is small and having a hard time getting in and out of the Bronco so I'm looking for a lower profile slider/step and these XTS sliders seem to fit what I'm looking for. Would you say the step is usable or too thin to really be of much help?
  15. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

I'm just starting to notice a faint knocking/grinding sound on cold starts in my '22 badlands 7mt with about 3k miles. Very interested to hear the results of a fluid overfill. To me it does seem possible that it is a result of poor lubrication on those synchros. Thanks for trying it out, keep us...
  16. Coldest Temperature Driven in Your Bronco?

Was about -5F when I took it for a drive yesterday, and it was outside overnight and it got down to about -13 as well. Handled the cold no problem at all!
  17. Post your Bomb Cyclone mega snow storm Bronco pics 🌨️ 🌬️

-11 here this morning and only a couple inches of snow, but super windy. The Bronco handled the cold and snow drifts like a champ, but I found this nice surprise this afternoon after sitting out in the wind all day....
  18. Prices are starting to drop!

I recently managed to buy nearly exactly what I wanted off the lot (since I wasn't in a place to make an order until after order banks closed). I got laughed at by a number of dealerships, but eventually it paid off and I brought home a new '22 4 door Badlands 7mt/Lux/MIC/tow for 1k over the...
  19. Something doesn't seem right......

I should clarify my earlier post, April 22 badlands 2.3/7mt, pivots from the top. I have definitely pulled the hood release instead of the handbrake on more than one occasion so I could see that as one reason it was changed.
