Same here kinda. I wanted a flat, non-metallic grey/blue and A51 was my first choice.
I went back and forth with some other colors and then saw the overland concept and decided it was the one.
That's a nice looking truck.
I'm just hoping a few more people cancel their pre-orders so that I can get bumped up in line.
Seriously though congrats.
I think someone had a similar comment, but I'm a few beers in...
Is this lifted, like more than Badlands is supposed to be?
It looks like a Sasquach lift but with Badlands wheels, no?
Something like this. I hope to go on a lot of road trips in the coming years.
We've been saving for a house so that plus COVID and we haven't been out in a while.
I'd like to plasti-dip the front BRONCO letters orange, and the tow hooks red like in my avatar.
I'd probably powder coat or plasti-dip the Badlands wheels as well. Not sure if I'm getting the "stock" Badlands wheels or the "upgraded" ones.
Maybe some stickers on the back/side window from...
Same here.
I some sort of weird bias against them. It's like they're always stuck in the 1980's for some reason.
Maybe it's just watching reruns of M.A.S.H. when I was a kid. I just never got the appeal.
Now Land Cruisers and FJs appealed to me more because they seemed more romantic out...
Good backup cameras with cross traffic, Blind Spot Monitoring and brake assists can be life savers.
Lane Keep assist and "smart" cruise control can be wonky.
Let's not throw out the baby with the bathwater.
These systems will be commonplace and eventually will be mandated to be standard...
Eh. Carbonized Grey was going to be my first choice, but I think I'm set on A51 for now.
I think in order for me to be set on Grey, It'd have to be a non-metallic and come with a white top.
Not really feeling the grey on grey on grey.
Plus it looks a bit too "badass" and that's something I'm...
Ugh. I love the idea of the soft top, but like the look, security and glass windows. Plus the pics of the MIC on Area 51 look very acceptable, so I'll go with that.
I actually like the look of absolutely no top, so I might get a Bimini top for the summer. It's also relatively cheap.
This right here.
Plus it's funny that the mid package comes standard on most vehicles this price.
I'm going to be the idiot that buys a Badlands anyway.
Well, 25% of 20MPGs is 5MPG...so:ROFLMAO:
Regardless, I'm hoping for at least 20MPGs mixed driving. Anything more than that would be great...my old S2000 and WRX both got between 18mpg-19mpg, but tech has improved since then so I think it will be a wash.
Well I'd assume if you like A51, like myself, you're in luck. If that's what they're building then I would also assume that's what's going to dealers first.
I can see it going both ways though.
Meaning I can see it taking longer to get if you have to wait behind a queue of other A51s.
Damn...
Might get a CAI and a Stage 1 tune. Hear more of the turbo, etc...
I don't care for the 2.3 exhaust sound; it sounds fine on a compact car but sounds strange on a Mustang/Bronco.
