i have this bumper, 2 actually. I agree with all your statements, its a great value and aesthetic. ill add 2 issues
1. cooling or lack of IS an issue. when I was packed down for some camping trips and its about 90 out, id get charged air temps, causing me to go into limp mode. wont get into the...
there are a lot of rigs with way less power and less favorable gearing than you that switch to 35s without batting an eye. get the 35s and if somehow you end up hating them, trade them for someones stock 33s or ride it out till next tire change.
worth it? the braptor is the best offroader off the shelf money can buy, it combines the capability of a jeep with the agility and speed of a raptor. if YOU actually take it offroad, no question youll get your monies worth.
ive had mine on for 3 years now, and ive wheeled hard with a rtt on the top (sandhollow rated 8 trails) and no issues with the shelf. sounds like yours may have been too loose when you were flexing and that put some stress on it? the C brace is one of the strongest alloys next to the frame...
"its not an equal comparison" you are right, where is the 3.0L motor, 37" tires, live valve options on the badlands wt? you are comparing on features, which the scales will never be level. you are comparing features, yet you are omitting the differences you cant obtain on the lesser trims, and...
man, you are dense. you are trying to build a wt or badlands to compare to a raptor. they will never compare, they are two completely different trucks. options are just that, options. no matter what you put on a badlands, or wt, it will never be a raptor.
my point still stands as fact...
you need tie downs/anchor points in the corners and down the center. it also looks like it would interfere with most tailgate tables. the OEM tailgate table has tie downs and clears a table and you can stand on it to reach your roof easier.
i think thats what he means by "so they fit" because they are f150 raptor shocks. i think you couldve gone full foutz mid travel all around and save a couple racks for that cost!
