I wouldn't trust the detergents in an automatic car wash on any soft top I've owned and I've owned at least 20 since 1982. I currently own 3. The killer of tops is UV, garage it, cover it, or use a top protectant. Should hold up okay, but it's definitely a wear item.

Gentleman, please. I sincerely apologize for my negative opinion of the 4-door Bronco. I certainly understand their place in today's market and the importance of their production. We'll need vehicles to harvest parts from in 30 years when we're restoring the collectable 2-door Broncos. :giggle:

I'm not a skeptic at all. I bought a Samurai from Texas that was very rust free and clean underneath. We drove it twice in the snow in Pennsylvania and you wouldn't believe the rust that came out on the frame and chassis. Now I use Fluid Film on all my cars and it definitely helps. Also...

Yeah, I know. In my introduction thread to this forum I posted a photo of my only 4x4, a Samurai. Some people felt it necessary to post vomit emojis (🤮). I just laughed. So I stand by my opinion that the 2-door Bronco is better looking than the 4-door Bronco.
