That is so strange. This is what I mean by no pattern. I reserved the same day that you did, and I got mine on 3/25. I don't see what would be the difference except for maybe the dealership's allocation?
It is so hard to find a pattern. I’m one of the lucky ones that got delivered with all of the goodies that some say are holding up there order. I had a VIN before HOSS 3 was announced, so could not charge, but I think that I pretty much have everything else that you could get on a WT. it does...
So we have not had time to "play" with the Bronco much. We found some trails via On X in the Piedmont Sanctuary that was only about 35 min away, so we decided to go give them a try. They are really just long gravel driveways. There is not much of anything technical about them, but it was fun...
I ordered my bronco without any steps as I was planning on installing AMPs like put on my F250s. H, when I saw the Rock Slide Engineering step sliders on Motoroso's youtube, I knew that I wanted them for the extra protection over the AMPs, so I ordered them from Motoroso.
The installation...
The wires switches for the Rock Slide Engineering slider steps penetrate the floorboard via a slit in a rubber grommet. I don't think that I want a "hole" in the floorboard. Has anyone modified the wiring & brought the wire in from a higher place in the firewall somewhere?
Does anyone know if they run shifts on
Did you ever find an answer to this? My friend's bronco has a blend of 4/21 & a rotation of 7096, so just curious if there is any chance that he will get built this week.
1. SAS tires suck (ugly & majorly through gravel)
2. Carpet floor in WildTrak (I hate carpet in a truck & the carpet is like loop in hook & loop)
3. Wind noise from the top (have soundproofing)
4. Storage is limited in the passenger area
5. No memory seating
All & in all, I am happy with the...
I know. The biggest regret that I have for getting a Wildtrac is the carpet floors. I always carpet delete my SuperDuty. I just don't understand carpet in a "truck". It is like carpet in a bathroom.
Has anyone looked into ordering the rubberized floor to put in after delivery?
So I live on about a mile-long gravel driveway, and these SAS tires really through the gravel. I have a set of Rock Slide Engineering sliders with skid plates on order, but still several weeks out. Anyhow, while I was having the windows tinted (20% all-around & 70% on the front), I had them...
I’ve only put about 300 miles on it, so I’ve not had much seat time with it, but I was coming home after a hard rain &’anything over 30-35, just felt uneasy.
I bought this for a fun/extra vehicle for next 24 months or so until my old st is driving age, and I just don’t think that I trust those...
I’m not accustomed to driving this size vehicles, so maybe it’s just the size of the Bronco, but I’m really not impressed with its charasitics in the rain. It seems to easily hydroplane. Is it these SAS tires or just standard with these things?
I feel that my f250 with 37” Nitto Ridge Grapplers...
All this is in my sig, but...
