I also did this and had to move stateside and Ford was more than willing to void the contract so I could import it. I think for the most part, dealers are just preventing the flip and if you encounter a legitimate reason to have the need, they work with you.

Say what you will about financing. I got 84 Months at .9 % last October. Pretty much free money so I took it. Worth noting I could have done much much shorter, but why would I. Stretching your financing is only a shite idea if you're doing it to afford the payments.

Another one to the list. Fixed the squeak on the window, only to now be able to hear the dreaded clicking/tapping noise. It sounds like a loose rivet or a cracked weld to me. No idea on the tailgate build, but it certainly sounds like a metal to metal connection has failed.
