I don't have exact weights handy, only shipping weights, which include packaging, which can be pretty heavy on a bumper (big, heavy wall box with dense foam inserts to protect the finish). Ship weight on the Pro series front bumper is 105 lbs., and ship weight on the aluminum skid plate is 22...
Turns out these are further along in production than we usually are when we announce things. First production units should be done in about a week, with packaging and shipping shortly after.
I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed regarding the license plate. It's simply not possible to keep it on the bumper and still try to tuck the ends of the bumper up for clearance. We will have a spare tire relocation for it.
I hope so, but not any time soon I'm afraid. I've lobbied hard for it but the initial concept our designer came up with got rejected in design review and I haven't seen anything else on it. I've tried to impress on our new products team how important it is for Bronco folks to be able to hang...
No, these are going to have about the same amount of travel as stock, since they retain the stock coil springs. The value proposition is in the shock performance, strength, durability and built-in lift versus stock, and in the lower price versus full coilovers. But there's not really any...
Yeah I was checking those out on the BDS Half Cab at Off-Road Expo and I think that's the cleanest solution. I might need to get that kit for my personal Bronco, but the ICON Bronco has to keep the crash bar mounts intact until we're done developing parts.
We're waiting for somebody to come out with a Full Frontal Light Mount that basically replaces the entire grille and fills that space with LED's. And a linkage that attaches to our new Tie Rods so they all turn when you steer.
The crash bars themselves do un-bolt, but the brackets they slip into don't. In the pics I posted above, the bars are removed but the brackets are still intact, and yeah they are unsightly when a high clearance bumper reveals them. Get out the Sawzall LOL.
I vote for cutting them off :) Either DIY it cleanly which may be tricky since its integrated with the body mount, or use something like the JKS Max Tire kit to completely replace them.
A while back we released our 2.5 EXP shocks for Bronco, and in another thread you may have seen us release Stages 3 through 8 of our Complete Suspension Systems featuring our full coilovers. Now we're filling in the blanks by designating Stages 1 & 2 of our Bronco Suspension Systems, which...
This is what it looks like with a Warn EVO 10S:
So yeah, the top of the winch solenoid pack blocks the bottom of the screen a bit. But it's not as bad as with some winch bumpers I've seen. I've personally wheeled this Bronco in Moab, Big Bear, and Sand Hollow and found the blocked lower...
