  1. šŸ›  03/24/22 Build Week

Searched and couldn’t find this week yet. Dealer told me I had this build week, but not sure if that still stands after recent updates I’ve been reading. Let’s share our experiences, anticipation, etc here! I ordered on 1/9/22 Base Race Res Sas 2.7 Soft Top Modular Bumper The only email...
  2. WELCOME -- SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CHECK-IN

I went camping at Anza a few months ago, would love to go back and take the Bronco out. I’ll be eager to hit the trails as soon as I have keys in hand.
  3. WELCOME -- SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CHECK-IN

I’m in your area, did you get your Badlands yet? I had my truck in for a recall at DCH last week and was impressed to see a few Broncos on the lot without ADM.
  4. WELCOME -- SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CHECK-IN

Ventura area here! Build week is 3/24, fingers crossed. Looking forward to taking my trailer to remote camping spots and wheeling.
  5. Dealer says I have a 3/24 build week, Ford site shows the order confirmed and a VIN but no build week

And @rancid53 I got in touch with my dealer after seeing others say they heard from their dealer without hearing a word from Ford. I reached out to the dealer and they had received a date, and gave me the order and VIN numbers. I ordered Jan 9, Base Sas 4dr 2.7 soft top
  6. Dealer says I have a 3/24 build week, Ford site shows the order confirmed and a VIN but no build week

Good to know, thanks! I’m sure our excitement has us all a little paranoid
  7. Dealer says I have a 3/24 build week, Ford site shows the order confirmed and a VIN but no build week

Dealer just told me that I have a 3/24 build week scheduled for my order. I got my order # and VIN, looked it up on the Ford website and getting a order confirmation, but it is not showing the build date. Is this just typical Ford website acting up?
  8. Ordered in December 2021 and just got my VIN and in production!

This reeks of troll and almost reads like a scam email.. You’re not interested in off roading because you’re in your 30’s now? I think many Bronco owners and adventurous off road enthusiasts are past their 30’s. You want us to tell you what upgrades to get? This should be personal choice...
  9. Biggest crunch I’ve seen a Bronco take!

Personally I enjoy watching the @LiteBrite Nation videos, the BroncBuster is a separate person. I’d never do this with my Bronco but it’s interesting to see the limits being pushed. The LiteBrite couple seem responsible and informative. As long as they aren’t putting people in undue danger or...
  10. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

I have an Anytone handheld dual band. I’m going to get a mobile GMRS radio to mount in the Bronco, and 2 spare handheld GMRS radios. @mtap that’s a great write up! Thanks thanks everyone for your thoughts and info
  11. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

Good to know! I have a handheld CB with a magmount antenna I could bring if I ever went to a logging road.
  12. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

That’s one of various restrictions. The radio has to be specifically certified for GMRS. Also a GMRS bus can also transmit on FRS channels, not vice-versa. Now let’s get back on topic… seems like GMRS is most popular. Is there a common calling channel used on the trails?
  13. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

If they are GMRS yes, if they are FRS then nothing is required. Most the handhelds at the stores are FRS, but they do sell some GMRS as well.
  14. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

yes it does, it’s just a fee you have to pay. It’s rarely ever checked, especially if you’re using your radio responsibly.
  15. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

I’m thinking of ordering a couple Baofeng handhelds for the same purpose. (Yes folks I am aware of the FCC rules).
  16. What are you using your comms radios for, and what do you have? (VHF, GMRS, FRS etc..)

I am a fan of radio communications but never really set one up in a vehicle. I have a handheld dual band VHF, but want to mount a mobile radio in the Bronco. We do a lot of exploring and dispersed camping, mostly solo trips or with one other vehicle. What are you usually using your radios for? I...
  17. Drop Trailer Tow Package and install aftersale?

it really depends on how mechanically inclined you are. The hitch install isn’t hard, the wiring isn’t that hard for a 4pin. Most smaller teardrops are probably 4 Pin. If it’s a large teardrop and possibly 7-pin you might want to stick with the factory option. keep in mind not all trailer...
  18. Drop Trailer Tow Package and install aftersale?

There hitch itself is a very easy bolt on, the wiring isn’t that bad to do for a 4-pin. checkout this post if you’re getting a Base model:https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/curt-plug-and-play-no-splice-trailer-wiring-harness-out-for-bronco.25164/post-1104423 read the whole thread for all...
