This is going to be the first vehicle I buy that is an automatic, for me that's driven by off roading and rock crawling.
If the feature will be useful is unknown. I think for overlanding its less likely to be useful because it tends to be less technical and have larger vehicles in the group...
I am curious and hopeful that TTA will be useful. If it makes a 4 door feel more like a 2 door on the tight PNW trails then I am going to love it. I would not use the term need per say, as its been pointed out you can pull an Austin Powers turn.
ATRAC is a good example for me, its not needed...
I am sure in the sort term they will take a sales hit, I think the 4Runner might get hit harder as it is late in its model life. But I think a market is better with 2 or more good competitors and we will see more innovation, customers and aftermarket for each brand.
That's what I was thinking, I have the Smittybilt Scout now which is perfect for the family but if its just the wife and I a sleep in would be great for fast set up/takedown and bad weather but sitting up in it is a must.
As I understand and if it is like my Tacoma there was no electric brakes with a brake controller. I also swear by the Redarc controller, made a huge difference towing my oof road trailer. Redarc is the only one I know off that doesn't have a giant ugly 1980s looking plastic box bashing your knees.
If a dealer alters what was agreed upon and adds $5K ADM and I am going to change my offer to $1K under invoice. If they are going to start the roshambo I'm going to get in on it to! Blow the deal up and take your business to someone else.
From the video the feature only works when Crawl Control is on and there is no brake or gas pedal input. The feature is needed when the trails or so tight that clearances are very close, ~2" or less. In those conditions there is no way I have Crawl control on and no brake or gas input! Unless I...
Same with me, 1st answer was that allocation had no impact on when you get your Bronco, I quoted the Ford email that said it did and they admitted their "error" . They will not tell me how many reservation or their allocation. I know its going to be a long time for me but I want to work with a...
I'm solidy into MY22 and that's fine. I'm using this to feel out how strait forward they are and easy to work with. Will wait till early to mid Feb and start shopping around with other dealers.
My reservation is with Ford of Kirkland, I emailed them and asked how many reservations they had and what their allocation was. They replied and said
" Bronco reservations will go in sequence, it will not be affected by our dealership allocation. Once your reservation is converted to ordered...
I have a monster step hill right next to my house that RWD vehicles have issues getting up in the rain, given I live in Seattle that's frequent. For me its a no brainer but pushing a button for 4WD is a first world problem...
I want to see the feature on a trail like the Morrison Jeep Trail or something similar. The video of it being used in the wide open sand is cool, however no need to turn that tight in that terrain.
I am with Ford of Kirkland but that doesn't mean anything, I plan on negating with a few dealers and move to the one that has the best price. Personally the timeline doesn't really matter to me. I am almost certainly going to be a 22 MY being a 10/14 reservation. I kinda prefer it that way, give...
I am guessing the system was never designed and validated for vehicles with 35" tires so they need to do the validation work and maybe updates to the system before they roll it out. It is clear to me they are still finishing the R&D and so if they can ship it without the feature that reduces...
