What do you do for customers that don't carry an Android or an iPhone? I have a GrapheneOS phone. FordPass is not available in F-Droid or any open source store and I doubt any dealer knows how to side load it.

I ordered mine back in January and I have an 8/8/22 build date. I have a VIN. I got a base, race red, black diamond, four door with a hard top and that's it. I am assuming I got selected for build since it has very few options. But, today is 8/19 and it still shows as "scheduled for production"...

Perhaps no mid package and no towing package is why I’m getting it built so soon. I placed the order on January 28th. Other people with fancier options seem to have to wait a lot longer. So I guess it’s cup half full in that sense.

I’m guessing it will be fine. They had some quality issues earlier this year. But this is the same motor as in the F150, which is Ford’s bread and butter product.

Yeah, I kind of got that sense from reading online that the motor didn't make much of a difference in driving feel and if that's the case then, the smaller motor seemed like a smarter choice from a long term maintenance perspective. Plus, I hear good things about the 2.3.

Funny thing is, I did exactly that. I have an email with a PDF attachment that shows the vehicle order with all changes we made. This is pretty wild. I can only guess that even though they generated that document at the dealer, no one ever entered it into Ford's system.
