I have a build week of January 10th. As that date approaches, at what point can I expect to be assigned a build date?

I'm not familiar with them. Make sure you get something in writing (email at least) regarding pricing before picking it up to avoid any surprises.

I'm so sorry you find yourself in this situation. Do you have anything from them in the form of an email regarding agreed upon price? That would be helpful. I went with Chapman Ford to avoid this very scenario.

Thanks for doing this. Ford should offer you some sort of an ad hoc QC position given your experience at Boeing! Hoping they will take this as serious as it sounds they are.

So I wanted to share that I called the IIHS on Wednesday and asked if they've completed crash testing of the Bronco as they only have the Bronco Sport listed on their website. I was told that it's been completed and will be released via their website next month.

For what it's worth, I switched to the 2.3 and wound up getting a build date in January. Initially I had chosen the 2.7 but communication from Ford said my order may be delayed due to them ironing out some quality issues. So I think your line of thought makes sense.
