I figured as much. This is Chapman Ford. They've been great so far otherwise. Guess I'll have to see if my wife can sweet talk them into checking off at least a few of these things at delivery otherwise I'll look for some of the more obvious ones myself before we leave. 🙃

I run into the same problem with our current vehicles; front windows are tinted to match the rear, and for example in a crowded parking lot at night trying to located a parking spot with people walking around me, I had to put both windows down to feel like I wasn't going to run someone over...

I mentioned this list to my dealer today by phone. Their response was that they do a pretty extensive PDI - anything above that I'm welcome to take to a dealer or mechanic on my own after delivery.

Were you involved in a similar hard braking situation prior to the failure? People can make excuses for Ford all they want or call people snowflakes or whatever makes them feel better. People should have a right to know these things. I for one had no idea the braking system on the 2.3 was...

I'm glad you are okay. What exactly did they mean by "it's a known issue with the brake vacuum" ?

I don't imagine it's easy to find that switch in the split second of an emergency after losing your brakes though,,, unless you are lucky.

This is great news! Glad it didn't roll onto it's side, unlike the Wrangler 🙃. The headlight difference is likely in part due to LED reflector vs LED projector beams. My Outback has steerable LED projector headlights while our Pilot has LED reflector. I notice a slight difference but overall...

What website gave you such a high figure? Theoretically I'd have to be offered at least a similar amount to remotely consider,, but I can understand the temptation. Especially with inflation what it's been.

I live in an area with a lot of country 2 lane roads. I'm glad to have DRL so that fools who think about passing when it's not safe to do so will hopefully see me coming the other way! 😐

Same here in Maryland. Ive seen anywhere from 10 to 20,000 over MSRP without any interest in lowering the price.

Will you be offering PPF for the bottom interior of the rear door? It would address the issue of having the the paint get scratched up because of sand/ dirt/ rocks stuck on the cargo mat (posted by another member).

This is funny but also not funny. I'd be upset if I were you. Reach out to Ford and see if you can order a new window, have your friend pay for it.
