My windshield replacement at Ford will cost $1,300.16. I have to eat the first $1,000 and insurance has the rest. Going to look into a windshield rider and/or drop the deductible to a more manageable dollar figure that does not change premium. More to follow.
I deleted both, thinking it was a phishing scheme. My loss. Can't get that back now.
Talked to Ford Marketing and there is no way to get this back because the first one with the broken link created the second email to be marked as spam and deleted. Sucks to be proactive on keeping spam out of...
Well folks, the mule has 4,500 miles on the clock after a quick out and back to York, NE. Had dinner at a local joint that came highly recommended. Down side of the trip is a broken windshield that will cost me my deductible and $300.16 from insurance. Glass will take 7 to 14 days to come in...
I got the email, but the link was broken. Mine was built on 8/31 and I think I was ahead of all of the promotion shenanigans. Would love to have a picture of it coming down the line.
@Red Mountain Pass You can tell them to pound the window etch, the wind blows for free and etc. Schomp did none of that and that is why I did not go to Phil Long.
85550 had just come out of a 3 year restoration and new paint as of January this year. That picture is from the Ford Bronco Event at Mile High over Memorial Day.
Some information concerning the 1970 and 2021 and similarities in build date and Production numbers. Here we go:
1970 Bronco was built on 31 October, 1969 with a build number of 85550.
2021 Bronco was built on 31 August, 2021 with build number of 85846.
These two Broncos were built 51 years...
I had the same squirrely feeling coming to an abrupt stop at the interchange between 58 and 99 in Bakersfield on October 9th. It did the side to side shimmy, but stopped. Total honesty, was not following too close, traffic just comes to a halt in CA for no reason. Heartbeat increased for a...
Colorado winters will be harder with the soft top, looking to buy someone's MIC 2.0 to make winter more manageable. Not to say I need some Midol, but 2 winters with a soft top on the 1970 have taught me to be more prepared. Price range is $2,500 to $3,000.
TBH, where the hell are all of the new Broncos in CO. I go anywhere and mine is the first that anyone has seen. I get the ticks attached to me in traffic, people come up in parking lots, it happens everywhere. I know I am driving a unicorn (fabled and not substantiated), but I need someone...
Here is my AMB beauty after installation of the Squatch wheels and Hankook MT2 35s. Love the color, everyone says 'Nice black truck' and as they get close 'Oh it's blue..."
