I did. I used these to mount them:

I used a fair amount of MLV on the inside of the speaker void and some polyfil. I will probably eliminate the bass blockers there.
OP, was the engine running or was it off? If it was off, I doubt it was electrical. Pavement on fire would seem to indicate some flammable liquid, unless it's molten plastic or other composite materials.
I don't know that knock sensor count provides any useful information by itself. Here's a description of what it is.

I used SoundSkins in my F-150. They only cover the inner panel of the door and the pre-cut holes still require a good bit of cutting because they're only stamped and none were separated in the panels I used. I wasn't overly impressed. The outer portion of the door needs the sound deadening...
Thermostats are rated at where they begin to open. They don't completely open until several degrees above that. Unless you're driving in 20° temperatures, you'll not likely to see the cooling system maintain the thermostat rating. But to each his own.
I don't really think those temps are high enough to be concerned with. But have you given any consideration to to a lower thermostat? I'm not sure what the stock thermostat is rated at, but Ford generally uses stats between 192° and 198°, and set their fans to have the engine run in the 205°...
2" longer springs do not equate to 2" increase in ride height. To get 2" of lift, you would likely need a spring that is .75" to 1.25" longer uncompressed if it had the same spring rate.
Good to hear. I'm going to give mine a go tomorrow. I see a step in the instructions that make it sound like you need to be connected to wifi so your OEM tune can be saved to Ford Performance servers. Did you have to do that or can it be uploaded later when I have internet access. I don't...
Is yours a 2023 or 2022? You're going to need the octane to feel any positive attributes from the recalibration. Even the transmission has some adaptive learning it will need to go through.
So I have to have wifi connectivity to be able flash this tune? From the instructions downloaded from Ford Performance website.
Come on Ford, this just adds another level of complexity to be in range of a wifi connection to flash a tune.
I stand corrected. I stuck my phone behind my wheel and it does indeed have the double bayonet mounts on the lower. The pics I've seen might have been pre-production. I suppose RPG's install instructions for the 3.0 perches have yet to be written. That diagram came from them in the...
The RC 2.5" does come with relocation brackets for the differential. The 2" does not. That's the only reason I can see a difference that would impact a skid plate.. I'm just posting what I can see are obvious differences. I have not had one of these apart yet. I would really be more...
Here's what I think is going on with the Hoss 3.0 confustion. I have a 2023 Wildtrac and I'm looking to level it and I have been trying to understand why these Fox struts are different from other struts used in the Sasquatch suspension and why some lifts that aren't supposed to fit are working...
