  1. Guys, why the heck does everyone debadge their trim emblems?

Badlands orange on Eruption Green is the best look - just wish the badge was stamped metal.
  2. NOW AVALIABLE: ORACLE LIGHTING 2021-2023 FORD BRONCO LED OFF-ROAD SIDE MIRROR DITCH LIGHTS

Installed my lights yesterday. The passenger side went very smooth and the fit and finish looks like the OEM. I had a harder time on the drivers side. I could not get the camera to sit flush in its hole. I spent probably 2 1/2 hours taking the mirror base off and putting it back on. I finally...
  3. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

Maybe there is no fix with the current design. This may take a complete redesign of the tranny. Ford may just be playing the waiting game of providing partial half fixes until they 1) phase out the manual altogether, 2) come out with a redesign, 3) wait out those who have the issue until their...
  4. NOW AVALIABLE: ORACLE LIGHTING 2021-2023 FORD BRONCO LED OFF-ROAD SIDE MIRROR DITCH LIGHTS

Can we use any of the AUX switches for theses lights? The specs say there is a 2 amp draw. Does this mean we can use any switch that has a greater than 2 amp fuse (which is all of them)?
  5. First Look! ORACLE Lighting Oculus™ Bi-LED Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco

Just got mine today. Here’s some unboxing photos. Won’t get to install until this weekend at the earliest.

My fear is that there is not a dealer in the Ft Worth area that has a good service department and I’ll be driving to Denton or Dallas to find good service.

I have a question for those of you that live on the west side of the metroplex. Which dealer do y’all use for service and would you recommend them? I haven’t used a dealer for service in a looong time and don’t have a good idea which ones have good service departments.
  8. Have to knock Ford sync/CarPlay

Wow. Kia and VW must be amazing. I came from a 2018 Lexus and Sync/CarPlay seem like some advanced futuristic AI system compared to the Lexus Enform system.

I can concur. Spent 6 hours driving all over the metroplex yesterday and tried both the Slippery mode and Normal mode in 4A. Since I have a manual the shifting point changes in Slippery mode don’t affect me. Overall the Bronco did great and I never felt out of control.
  10. The best worst day

Let it go. I am 56 to and have had to let things go that I wanted. Don’t even think about them at all. Peace of mind is worth more than a car.
  11. Calling all Manual Transmission owners that have done some wiring -- any good way to get through firewall in to the engine?

I should have used a stiff rod instead of a screwdriver that has a handle. I am sure others with more experience can give you better suggestions on what to use.
  12. Calling all Manual Transmission owners that have done some wiring -- any good way to get through firewall in to the engine?

Look at post #36 https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/complete-stereo-install-amp-dsp-speakers-and-sub-lots-of-pictures.43856/page-3#post-1452486 I did not go thru the main grommet like this post shows. I went through the small ā€˜tot’ at 12 o’clock.
  13. Is $5k too much for a professional audio overhaul?

If it is worth it to you and your peace of mind then do it. I have a base system and upgraded it myself with adding a sub in the factory sub position. I have about $1500 in parts alone and I didn’t use any high end components, but the sound is amazing. from what I’ve read of others experience...
  14. Manual transmission scraping noise / grinding sound

I have filled in my info on the spreadsheet but just to give a bit more information: I have 14K miles on the Bronco. Sound started at around 6-8K. It is not as loud as some of the posted videos but it is easily heard. It only happens when it is below 45-50 degrees and it does go away fairly...
  15. Alright Ford you broke me - question for soft top owners

Agreed. I have a 4 Dr soft-top and I have taken road trips of 900 miles, 1800 miles and 6000 miles with my wife and have never had a problem with carrying a conversation at normal levels. now that does not mean you don’t get road noise. I don’t have the SAS tires and they may be louder.
  16. First Look! ORACLE Lighting Oculus™ Bi-LED Headlights for 2021+ Ford Bronco

So…. This post means you have shipped mine???
  17. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

I am not ordering one. I would have ordered if I could get the MY22 pricing, but not at the current prices.
  18. No more 2023MY scheduling for hardtops, Sasquatch and LUX (reported by dealership)

They learned with the Bronco. There is no price protection with the Lightning. I am a Day 1 reservation holder with the Lightning and am looking at paying 10-15K more for the same truck simply because I didn’t get an invite to order a MY22.
