I'm sure you're looking for 3rd party opinions and I hope some will chime in. But I've been running the EXP's on my personal 2-door Base (non-Sasquatch) since we launched them. The valving seems to be slightly firmer than the stock Hitachi's so you do feel the road slightly more. But they're...
I hadn't actually seen the license plate mount myself yet (that's mentioned in the bullet points) so I asked about it down in engineering. Turns out we'll be shipping the bumper with a bracket that mounts the license plate pretty much in the stock location. It's a separate piece so those who...
We have two front bumpers and they each have their own ACC relocation strategy. I haven't heard of any problems for either one, other than people griping about having to move the ACC.
We're working on a tailgate reinforcement piece that incorporates heavier-duty tailgate hinges to facilitate carrying larger/heavier spare tires. I've lobbied for a bumper/frame-mounted spare tire carrier but so far that has not been greenlit.
Not specifically for this bumper, it gets too complicated for us to offer direct discounts due to our MAP agreements with our dealer network. But the good news is we're currently doing a 15% Off promotion on all of our Bronco bumpers both direct and through our dealers who choose to participate...
It covers things like if a weld breaks, structural failure, manufacturing defects, etc. It doesn't cover the powder coat finish though, that's under a separate warranty.
ICON Vehicle Dynamics is excited to announce the next addition to our Impact Armor product line for 2021 & newer Ford Bronco, the Pro Series Rear Bumper.
Tackle the toughest trails with the ICON Impact Pro Series rear bumper for the Sixth Generation Ford Bronco. Designed for the ultimate in...
We haven't sent out the official New Product Announcement to dealers yet. But I know some of our dealers are pretty excited about it from our sneak peeks and seeing them at SEMA, and some have started taking orders even ahead of our own product announcement. My guess is they may have secured...
I'm not going to disparage RPG, they make some nice stuff and those tie rods do look sexy, no doubt they are also very strong.
I think the most judicious way to look at it is that our tie rod is based on the stock tie rod design, beefing up and upgrading it where needed, but keeping it as much...
They've been on our 4-door since before SEMA with moderate use, though admittedly nothing too hard core in that time. I'm not sure what you mean by comparing them to "solid" tie rods. These are solid chromoly inners and solid forged steel outers, with all dimensions significantly beefier than...
We're pretty sure they WILL be compatible with HOSS 3.0 based on everything we've read so far. But we'll be bringing a '23 Wildtrak in soon to confirm. We expect the only hiccup will be the boots that we include in the kit, which are sized to fit the end of the HOSS 1/2 rack.
While the visual differences are obvious, the functional benefits of the billet parts get pretty granular, where *most* people probably wouldn't really take advantage of the differences. Basically the billet parts offer more and easier adjustability. On the UCA's, rather than a fixed-position...
Hi there. I just checked and it looks like a run of them has been completed and is now in packaging. I don't know where that puts you since I don't have access to order information. But there are more units being built in this batch than back-orders so yours should be among them.
@Tricky Dick glad you got it all worked out and it wasn't our fault LOL. I'll be watching your thread as I'm curious to hear how those springs work out for you.
I don't remember the actual numbers but I know we beat the stock Sasquatch-equipped rigs and a King-equipped 4-door handily. This was at Bronco Super Cel in Colorado last year. Of course all the Early Broncos wiped the floor with all of the 6G's on the ramp LOL. If I can find a pic of how the...
I just did some quick math and the price difference between the CDEV system and the standard remote res coilovers comes to $1,994.95 ($1,480 price difference for the 4 shocks plus $525 for the IIC module). That's a lot of cabbage but for some reason in my mind I thought it would be more than...
To be honest, any of our stages 3 and up would be an improvement over most types of terrain. The travel, shock design and valving is the same on all of them though, so the reasons for stepping up at each stage will depend on your wants more so than needs. For example, if you want to be able to...
Here are a couple shots from the RTI ramp at Bronco Super Cel this year. The ICON 4-door is running our Stage 8 kit with 37's and the up-travel limiters.
