Most of the time I only have a problem with the rear camera. When I’ve driven through some snowy/slushy/spray-ey roads the next time I stop and get out, I just lick my finger and rub the crud off a little camera lens. Not much else one can do.

Hmm, there’s got to be a way to run the wire without removing airbags. Even if it’s just tucked in between the a-pillar and the windshield, then routed behind the dash and along the floor boards to the back. I get that it’s a new vehicle type and they are scared of causing a blemish, but...

For those that got this enclosure, what was the lead time? When did you place the order for it and did it come with your bronco or separate?

It’s going to put undue stress on the system and potentially destroy your tire and jack up your alignment, but other than that, I’m sure it works fine…. =]

YES! I’ve gotten no comms from Ford, but the full back door link finally allowed me to see my build and I apparently have a production date of 1/31/22!!!! I called the Bronco helpline and they gave me my VIN! Guess I’m having an extra beverage tonight!

Just a word of caution - many states require DRLs to be on by law, but it’s your vehicle.

Also, along with the advice above - you mention you don’t have snow, but you live in Florida. Even inland there’s bound to be salt all over the place due to storms, humidity, ocean spray evaporation etc.

Have you used one of these in the past or have one on your bronco? I’m looking for some feedback on the security side of things - how responsive is the g-shock trigger for recording, and does it provide notifications via cell network?

Yeah, I’m not happy about the big brother thing, but I did get a ticket from E-470 a few years back after my license plate had fallen off (guess the curb won :LOL:). I’ve also gotten speeding tickets from their drive through toll plazas measuring time between tolls.

Agreed. Once we get an update from OP and we hear the dealer agrees to no ADM, I’m fine with closing it at that time.

Lol! They have front and rear facing cameras. So they get a picture of the rear plate regardless. Then they mail you a fine for not having a front plate along with the pictures they took.
