Just had the same problem with the sensor harness not going back together after replacing my bumper. I went to the car parts store and got a little packet of bulb grease, wiped some on the inside of the black side with the pins, and it went right together.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have the same problem.

Bronco has the best headroom of any vehicle I’ve ever driven. I’m 6’ 3” 280 and fit with room to spare. I have the seat base at max height and have at least a couple inches left above my head and I actually have to have the seat pulled forward a couple notches.

Yeah, that looks like it might work. As for the angled plate, yes I drilled a hole in the aux switch cover for the cables and screwed the angle plate directly to it. Unfortunately due to how that plate slides on, up-angle is the only option. I can still see the display pretty well.

Unfortunately the angled trim piece is one-way only. I would have prefered a slightly downward angle as well, but found it had to be mounted with the up angle. I don’t find it to be too difficult to see the display at all.

Ooh, I like the blended door pieces! My body guys had a hell of a time getting those trim pieces to fit properly and I ended up with some gap/overlap.

What did you shim it with, material-wise?

Where was the metal fatigue? The whole purpose of me buying this bumper was to be able to add jerry cans without putting stress on the tailgate.
