Mine did develop a slight rattle. I just added a little clear caulk in the very tight gap between the table top and frame. Not visible and solved the problem.
Base, base, manual. Only option was switches and they didn't even put those in. Even after tires/wheels, bumpers, Katzkin's leather, Performance tune, Badlands suspension, ceramic tint, fog lights/controller, and various other add on's I’m still under $40,000.
In my neck of the woods it's referred to as "the Palatka lean". These trucks are always accompanied with straight pipes and cursive script last names on the back glass. High schoolers for the most part. Look's stupid and sounds awful.
In my day we raked forward with small tires up front and...
You can add modes but not delete them. I have them all (base, 2.3, manual) and will occasionally dial up sport but with the FPT and pedal commander sport really isn't necessary. If I switch to sport I have to dial the pedal commander back a little because it's a little to responsive.
I researched adding the OEM aux switches since mine came without them (the only option I ordered). AS mentioned you need the harness, switch/console, and a new fusebox for $900. At the time the fusebox was not available. The install looked fairly easy. I decided to just go with an aftermarket...
Running 315 KO2's on my 23 base, 7 speed. I had 33's on it previously but wanted a little more tire after I installed the Badlands suspension. The difference between the 33's and 315's were negligible.
Just go ahead and get the Everglades. I got a great deal on some Badlands takeoffs and thought that would do me and then Ford released the Everglades wheels.....
Those are awesome pic. Very envious of you folks that live in those types of areas. It's a 8-10 hour drive from Florida to get to some different terrain.
Speaking of F22's my son just sent me a pic yesterday of several 22's that showed up at his base in Kansas.
I have encountered numerous young fellas at Discount Tire, Tint Shop, and several other places that I watch them go get in the truck, sit a minute or two and then get out and take the walk of shame. I always tell them their daddy failed them.
The valet guys all know how to drive a stick and...
I have a pedal commander and the FPT. I'm very pleased with the results. I run the PC on Sport 0 which gives me just the right amount of throttle response. For me anything over Sport 2 is to aggressive.
Don't notice much difference in the way it rides. Maybe a slight bit stiffer but a non-factor. Gained 3" in the front and 2.5" in the rear. Sitting level all four corners at 40" from the ground to lip of the flare and 1" higher than a stock SAS. I'm running 35 BFG KO2's for reference. The...
