Had lunch with staff of Bronco Base Camp yesterday. They said by the end of the week they'll have over 200 people in camp. Sounds fun, and I'll have to drive over there one evening.

Yep, that's it. We contingency teched well over 200 desert cars Sat morning, plus full tech on Ultra4 cars. Whew! Busy day.

I've been flat towing my 4 cyl Badlands, works fine. I have an Air Force One aux brake kit and it works with the Bronco just like it did with the Jeep. One you get the hang of setting the tow mode, it's pretty simple.

I'll be there, rocking my Baja Designs lights. I'll stop by and say hi. My Bronco will be parked next to the Tech Tent all week, from Feb 2-7. Then Feb 8-10 I'll be doing contingency inspections, and if like the last few years, the Bronco will be parked across from PCI.

Regarding the cost of registration, it's been a while since we did an event in Moab, but I do now remember that there was a BLM fee per person per day per trail, that is unique with BLM to Moab. Looks like they are covering that cost and not doing it per day, which is very hard to keep track of...

Did anyone receive any communication after you registered, like a trail schedule and signing up for individual trail runs? I see that as of today, we have 17 who have confirmed they are going. That right there is a pretty big group for a trail run, but bigger groups are easier to do in Moab...

Vendor swag is donated, and trail leaders volunteer. Not complaining here, I've put on quite a few events, just commenting that it is a hefty registration fee and not clear what is included. Wondered if I missed it. I know event insurance has gone up, likely a few thousand dollars for this...

Yeah, I don't mind paying for event registration, but $165 is quite a bit. I can't find anything explaining what is included in that. Did I miss it? Like dinners, T-shirt, raffle ticket, etc.

The designated spectator areas have been greatly expanded this year. There will be a number of good spots to watch the high speed action as well as the slow speed stuff. In addition to the digital map that will be available there are paper maps available when you get there.
