Well its just a matter of convenience isn't it? that's why they put the lifting rod on back of the OEM top .... also for $35 or so you can install a pair of IAG piston rods that really make it easy. I just dont see myself paying $1900 just for looks .... but that's MY opinion!

One BIG minus is that the back doesn't go up like the OEM top does? very annoying when you try to load things in the cargo area.

I went with cloth seats cuz i live in the Southwest .... no more syngeing my legs when i wear shorts .... non-cloth seats get extremely hot in our balmy weather I also think the 12 inch screen is well worth it

Yes it works ... I got one and I'm super happy with it .... no more oil mess on the garage floor either
