Dealer behavior has not changed in 100 years. Ford knows the problem. Independent franchised Dealers are supported by state laws. Based on my neighbor's Tesla problems, I'm not sure the Manufacturer can handle customer issues any better.

I think Ford understands there is a limit to what retail customers will pay (i.e, Jeep, Defender, 4Runner, etc) but they have no problem sticking it to the Dealer with a super-slim profit.
