  1. Terrible experience buying accessories from Ford.com

good to hear. I've ordered 3 things. One returned (did not go swimmingly but in the end was refunded), one received at local dealer within 5 days after order (went swimmingly) and one was ultimately cancelled by Ford after about 6 weeks as they could not locate inventory, this was after I was...
  2. Help me with muffler delete

good to know - figured it was an easy check. for arguments sake, probably a cheap autozone muffler piece one could buy and slip on to redirect just to check. would still not be roadworthy with CO rolling under the body but again just to check
  3. What's the correct position for the rear coils on a Sasquatch?

the coil bottom terminates towards the passenger side on both sides of the rear. I looked at this last week when under mine as I'm planning to swap out the coilovers. if a photo helps I can take one when it's not raining.
  4. Brakes Seized On Highway (again!)

so did the brake vac sensor assy fix it last time? the original post doesnt state. $70 is pretty cheap to throw in the glovebox for anyone wanting to be prepared to recover after this poop in pants scenario
  5. Terrible experience buying accessories from Ford.com

not always the case - i had something delivered to delaer and then the dealer had to return it. no sweat on my end right? yet it took 2 months, no exaggeration, for me to get my refund. this is after numerous calls, we all the know the "would you like your case number" and that "it will be...
  6. Help me with muffler delete

if really curious, just yank the muffler off and see what it sounds like. Pretty sure it will convince you a delete is not what you want.
  7. Service recommendations at 50K miles?

if you got 50K on the diff fluid you absolutely want to change, especially as you've done some wheeling. I've got 2200 miles on mine and I'm about to swap out the factory diff fluids (other reasons). Really no need to do plugs at 50K, unless you want to take a peak at them to see what they...
  8. Winch fuse size

ford performacne warn winch kit (warn heavily involved in the design) does not install a fuse. in the warn instructions as well as the ford dealer install instructions. Going to go with Warn and say don't add a fuse to your setup.
  9. No Duck

I have yet to do anything with the factory fog light wiring since I replaced the bumper. I certainly will tho. PLenty of bumper options out there if you don't like what you first see.
  10. No Duck

Base / plastic are useless, obviously the crash bars are the structural part. I didn't weigh the front when I removed it, but it was less than a 12 pack per my calibrated hand. Your use case will matter of course but that was the first thing I did was replace the plastic.
  11. Sweating the dumb stuff

I picked my bronco up new on 12/30 or so and it was raining. Wasn't til I was able to fawn over it later in the sun that I noticed the ford paint shop left a pretty good gouge in hood that was filled with clear coat. Once I saw that I didn't give a shit about the scratches and what not...
  12. Procal shipping times from Ford?

ford parts is hit or miss in my experience. some ships quick, some never arrives and gets cancelled by ford.
  13. Trickflate/NAPA maxitrac Compressor Power Source

if you really don't want the clips, there are plenty of other cable connectors of all the AWG you could want. You could wire something up to your battery (make sure + and - are protected) and connect that way. I have the napa 300L and have zero issues with the clips. I use it on other...
  14. Automatic Door Opening

was kinda hoping this was a post about auto door openers / latch poppers. That would be awesome.
  15. Bad struts, not covered under recall.

I'll be removing my sasq. coilovers in a week or two. They have 2K miles on them. In case you want to wait I'll sell them for cheap. My build date is after recall period as well.
  16. Ring around my OEM Territory M/T at 60k miles.

There's your answer. Your budget says they're safe enough til August. Looks like some dry rotting as well in the tread grooves. Agree with others, don't plan road trips beyond your means to deal with one or two flats (AAA 100 or 200 mile range plan?).
  17. Georgia Barnes 4WD - Pritchett Canyon Rear Bumper -$700

ok - nothing I couldnt deal with. I used the krylon fusion all in one textured matte black on their front and it looks like a nice powder coat. I'll reach out if you still have it next time I head down 85 past greenville.
  18. Georgia Barnes 4WD - Pritchett Canyon Rear Bumper -$700

what did you paint it with? I have the barnes front and have been waiting to do some other stuff before I buy the rear. I have a plant just outside atlanta that if we were to make something work, I could pick up.
