The Ford ordering system determines what the Priority code is for some of them. I've got a First Edition Customer that has the Black Mod Top with a Priority Code 99. Dealer can't change it to 19 and expect it to stay. I know because I've tried, it immediately reverted it back to 99.
That's what we're asking from our customers. If that customer ends up not purchasing the vehicle and it ends up being because of credit, we now have a reason for Ford when Ford asks for one. These Orders need to be at minimum an 80% match or we as dealers lose allocation.
For instance, we just...
Incorrect information. Depending on the exact build of a FIrst Edition the Ford Odering Sytem will automatically default to Priority Code 99. Dealer cannot change it.
So an update from the dealership I work at. Since I was finally able to get a hold of a few more customers.
Of the original 29 Reservations. 13 Have Cancelled.
Leaving us with 16 Real Reservations.
We've got 9 converted with 1 in the pipeline. 1 is waiting for MY22.
The other 5, only 1 has...
So far at the dealership I work at we had a total of 29 Reservations. So it goes a little like this
29 Total Bronco Reservations
12 Allocated
7 Cancellations so Far
3 More Cancellations are supposed to happen. One Customer backed out as a Family Emergency came up. The other 2 cancellations is...
And the lot of you keep feeding into it. He can go ahead and do whatever He wants at the Dealer. As most of you point out, dealers are dumber as hell right? I should know, I work for one. I can go ahead and do the same thing for any customer that comes through my store. But I can almost...
The likely hood of this person getting one before someone with a reservation is slim. The Order Numbers is associated with the Reservation. Ford will be able to see all that. When they this build associated with nothing, I can only presume that it will be at the end of a very very very very very...
@Pl8to That might just be their way of saying leave us alone or just some stupidity on their end. I'd imagine Ford is going to lease these, but I think the calculator on the Ford Website isn't going to end up reflecting what we end up actually seeing. If it is, then that's pretty phenomenal.
Dealers have no way to accurately calculate what the lease will be. Yes we have the residuals but we do not have a money factor/interest rate from Ford.
From Your Dealer? maybe, maybe not. Depends on if something comes up or something happens. If you have questions about a particular thing about your build or something about them as a dealership do not hesitate to ask. I've got a customer that calls me every week. I don't mind, I wants customers...
That's exactly what I'm saying. The system determined Code 99 for that specific build. I can probably change it, but I'm not going to. I'm gonna let Ford handle that.
Just so that some of you are aware, Priority Code 99 could be because of some of the options you chose. So far only 1 customer of mine, who has an FE, is Priority Code 99. He wanted the Black painted Hard Top and Black leather. It even states Unscheduled-Material Hold in the Status column...
Originally started with 24 Reservations/12 Allocated. 3 Canceled so far, 7 have put in their Orders. 1 decided to wait until next year. All the others have been extremely difficult to contact, either by email or phone number listed. To me that doesn't make any sense. I thought most people would...
