    If you read the fine print on the Tube Doors, they say "OFF ROAD USE ONLY". So technically, from a dealer perspective, they cannot install them on the vehicle and have you drive onto a paved road or they could be in trouble with Ford. or other legal issues if something happens to you...

    Dont forget leverage though..... The factory offset probably puts the wheel much closer to the tailgate, and I assume your new wheels will have an offset that puts the wheel further away from the mount. that will increase the forces on the tailgate.

    According to Google, the dealership makes 30-35% markup on parts retail....so 33% of that 14K is dealer markup.... You dont have to worry about from the factory. Assume Ford wants to make a larger profit on their parts that matches that percentage... and those percentages are flat, not...

    Hmm....see your point... instead of a hoop step front and rear, they show a whole assembly...so it might be a whole new rock rail... That is unfortunate.

    I wouldn't call it a failure.....sales declined...but as a vehicle ages it should theoretically decline.

  19. Bronco "rescued" out on the trail in Utah

    He wasn't comfortable going on, and the fact he was wheeling alone always makes things more sketchy. He literally had to pay his way out of it, but its a lesson and everyone is fine. Next time, he will have additional people with him!
