Never considered it being "too hot" or "too humid" for a convertible! It's humid up here in the summer, and snows half the year, but otherwise I think I'll have the top off for 3 straight months in the summer when I finally get one!

Wow, that's so interesting to me. That is the feature I want the Bronco for - a comfortable convertible that can seat 4+ comfortably.

Just to be clear: the Badlands comes with rock rails, but if you add on the hoop steps they replace the rock rails with rails that do not support the vehicle weight? They don't just sell steps to attach to the stock rock rails? (Looking at a BL purchase, and want to understand!)

Does the convertible not matter to you? Isn't that why people buy Broncos?

I've actually really grown to hate the front grille on the OB since I've been staring at it for so long. Just another benefit for the BL! I'm not sure what you mean? Are they not just used for stepping into the Bronco? Do you mean you can't use them to pull out of slippery terrain?

Thanks for the input, everyone! Just an update, I've decided to go: Badlands 2.3 manual: includes FT drive, 4.7 gears, front+rear lockers, but only 33" tires and not as much lift as Sasquatch - is a bit cheaper and everyone raves about the manual 2.3, also has the rubberized floors and MGV...

I think you missed the point here. I may want bigger tires in the future but road trips with convertible top is the immediate appeal. And respectfully, this forum definitely skews "BRONCOS ARE FOR CRAWLING" but please understand there are tons of people who road trip the Bronco and Wranglers...

Does that require premium fuel? Looks like I'm waiting for 2024 orders since the manual is done for the year (just confirmed with dealer), but I agree. That's the plan!

I use it all the time in my Mazda 🤷‍♂️ How is it not useful for road trips? The whole purpose is to automatically adjust distance when the person in front of you slows/speeds up which happens all the time on road trips. I've tried it and didn't think it sucked, but yeah it's overpriced in that...

I don't really understand this comment. Who cares what an engineer would build? And I happen to be an engineer! 😆 But you also say all the off-roading features are unnecessary too, so what exactly do you think the Bronco is good for? What it comes down to is what someone is personally looking...

Just makes sense to me to have on a 4x4 if possible. I live in heavy snow and may do some off-roading. Is this confirmed? It says "limited availability" on the configurator, but it's still selectable. And to answer some other comments: I actually test drove the B&O and thought it sounded...

Actually I think the front camera is in the high package, but honestly if I could add the B&O audio w/sub without adding the Lux, I probably would and go without the other features.

I especially like that I don't have the huge sasquatch tires and lift, it's like a perfect middle-ground. I've been looking through the trims for weeks and only just noticed this!

Well now I've noticed that you can order the Badlands in 2.3 manual which comes with FT drive, 4.7 with locking diff, 33" tires, and you can still add the Lux package. This would also change to MGV seats with the rubberized flooring, which honestly I might prefer. I'd also give up the dual tops...
