Forcing a $3K Lux package upgrade on Badlands to get a 360 camera now is really shady. I don't want the B&O sound! Man this sucks. Wrangler is strongly in consideration now, and I was ready to order. :(

The only thing keeping me from a Wrangler right now is the potential of a Bronco being more reliable than Jeep. We'll see how I feel when the MY24 pricing is finally released.

Pretty silly to not give dealers and customers any chance to price/build before opening up orders tomorrow.

They're gonna be a lot harder to find in the future though. Consider widening your net, a lot of dealers ship now too. Also Carvana, Vroom, CarMax, etc.

I think your best bet would be finding a 2023 now, before they're all gone.

The difference is that with Jeep you can add-on to any model. Want a Sport S with a heated steering wheel? No problem! Want the Alpine audio too? Sure! Blind spot monitoring? Go for it! Off-road camera (I know isn't exactly the same as the 360 camera)? Here you go! Now there's a 12.3" screen...

Another $2K for Badlands is REALLY making me consider a Wrangler. That OneTouch top is so cool and will still be $5k less!

I actually like Kia/Hyundai, but they are really suffering from the stolen car/immobilizer fiasco. I think that wiped out a decade of reputation building as no one around here will ever buy them again. Every day people post on Nextdoor about their car being stolen.

Seems like something they were trying to address with the JBL soundbar for the base audio, but doesn't seem like anyone likes that much either.

I feel personally attacked! 😆 I spent pretty much my entire years 15-25 installing head units, amps, and subwoofers in my cars and my friends. Once I started buying vehicles with infotainment systems, it was just not worth the hassle so I always just bought the trim with the best audio and hoped...

Alright, hopefully the High package is still available for Badlands, I really don't wanna deal with the B&O (unless they improved something). Guess we'll find out tomorrow! Is it heresy to say I'm actually considering a manual Rubicon partially because of the Alpine audio?

Got it. I guess I was hoping it was possible that just upgrading the speakers and/or the sub+sub amp in the B&O plus maybe an amp in the front (without touching the 4 in the rear) was a viable option.

Even considering that it comes with fewer speakers/wiring?

Just curious when taking into consideration building a new Bronco. Seems like neither configuration is gonna do it for me, so it seems smart to consider which one will be easier to upgrade. The 7-speaker already has an amp and sub that can be replaced, but the B&O has more speakers available for...
