I have to say that this is probably the best and most descriptive take on the "Leather vs MGV" Debate. Well done on this write-up.
That being said, I think you're making the right decision by going to Leather based on your circumstances. The big problem with seeing the Bronco in person is that...
Very difficult, It looks like the entire dash has to be swapped out for the 12 inch head unit. You're better off getting the 12 inch screen from the factory imo.
Cmon man you definitely were triggered enough to make 2 posts about it.
They make fun, informative videos and they have a lot of respect online and in this forum. You really shouldn't be surprised that you 'stirred up so much crap' by making a crap-stirring post.
So regarding that, I don't actually know what the difference is between the DORA and the Build Sheet. I have confirmed with my dealer that everything is correct in the system but I'm not sure if the DORA process is different for us Canadians than it is in America.
I personally don't have a...
You definitely got lucky with the reservation side of things, but I get your frustration. My Ford.ca account still says 'In-store Order' and I ordered back in February. It still says 2021 even though I am now a 2022 with the MOD top. So they have some catching up to do!
You're welcome!
So I am actually not 100% sure but the 'Ford.ca Reservation System' differs from the "Dealer/ Customer ordering process"
What I suspect is the original reservation holders account would now say 'In-store Order' and an order number.
Your dealer probably tied your order number...
Here is what I have been able to discern based on my experience and hours of reading this forum.
1. Ford Canada and Ford America have different mandates to how they communicate with their customers. This has caused a great deal of confusion.
2. You will NOT receive any confirmation email from...
Agreed, Bronco is obviously the new kid on the block but if the tables were turned, I'm sure the Jeep would be the one that has many of our Bronco reservations
I mean... Jeep bad...Bronco Good
I do (somewhat) agree with the user that you quoted, purely out of my own experience owning a 2 door Wrangler JK for about 5 years before getting rid of it.
The 2 door will drive fine, if not a bit bouncier. But the sacrifice of a trunk really becomes limiting after a while (Under my own...
Thanks for the pics, any opinion or feedback on what you saw?
I'm just a lonely Canadian waiting for Ford Canada to say when we can start seeing Broncos in person....
I completely agree with you.
I understand that people are upset that OBL was in-fact, a Ford driven initiative. But so what? What were we all so mad about? That we were getting weekly Bronco videos on a truck that most people on this forum are eagerly awaiting?
If they stop posting content...
Asked about this exact same thing at my dealer (McAlpine Ford) and my salesman said that they don't have anything official from Ford yet.
Really want to see a Bronco in person also.
Yup.
My first, had a Jeep Wrangler that gave me the 4x4 bug years ago and this is my return. Bronco looks like the better / more interesting product so I'll take the chance.
