The catch is I cant keep my hellcat that I love. But I have the opportunity to get a brand new 24 brapter with a $97k sticker for $67k selling price. GM is a close friend, and is willing to make a nuts deal to get it gone so they can make room.
But personally I wont be able to keep my hellcat...
For the record, I dont know who bought my bronco as it was traded in. I have it all verified on the site and ready to reserve an owners experience. Is there a way I can let someone else go for me? I really dont want to go across country for an experience that Im no longer a part of.
Any ideas?
Yep. Pulled this one out of my Bronco. And I said no to their LoJack garbage. It’s just an obd2 piggy back device. Takes 9 seconds to remove. I remember real LoJack they would dismantle your car and burry that box deep so nobody could find it. Meanwhile they are doing this and leaving them in...
For sure there is. But sadly the bronco PCM is hardware locked as far as I can see. Any PCM/TCM changes will require a hardware unlock or unlock PCM swap which is what I think ZFG does. Im not in that business anymore, so Im not sure whats available for these.
Ultimately this is what you want. A real tune from a real tuner and just run full E no mixing. I’ll get there but I’m enjoying not worrying about warranty concerns at the moment. My 22 mustang GT had a whipple and headers at 1500 miles and was touching 9s. Warranty was toast at that point.
Like this. Just make sure you account for there being e20 already in there for the next fill up. You can just change the current E% from 10 to 20. And as always add the E first then top off with 91/93. And please don’t drive it at all until you topped it off with 91/93. My E station has E...
Correct. I use ecal app and just free hand the calculation. Usually it’s about 3 gallons to get e20. I’ll put in the E first. Then top off with 93. That’s usually about right. The Bronco fuel trims will handle adding the additional fuel need to keep stoich. All is well and you’ll get the...
Yeah its the same in the mustangs. The TCC settings are all goobered up from Ford. They are quite violent. The 24 10R80 settings for the mustangs smoothed that all out. We've transplanted a mixture of 24 GT 10R80 settings as well as home grown changes to the TCC settings and the shift...
And as a calibrator, I could absolutely knock your socks off by doing this with the pedal demand. This ramps in initial pedal way faster and its multiplied all the way up to 90% where it would go back to 1:1. This would make it feel like you are driving a goddamn racecar in sport mode. Which...
And if youre wondering what gets changed on the trans side in the FRPP tunes, Im sure its shift pressures are raised a bit and pedal demand per mode is changed. And here's an example of all the shift schedules for all the various modes that Ford blankets into every PCM. In the upper left of...
I sure as shit didn’t tell you to run 87. If you’re smart, you’ll do what the random dude on the internet says and actually run e20. That’s what I am telling you to do. 91 is a fools errand. 93 alone should work most of the time to get you all the power you are overpaying for. But to fully...
Its not on the F150 EBs or the Explorer EBs. But this is Fords global stragety for handling spark for these modern engines. Its even almost identical on the 2024 S650 coyotes. I have both the GT and DH tunes already for those. Cant flash them, but we were able to read them out with HP...
Some lawyer wrote that but you'd better believe that Ford has their asses covered by their own calibrations to make sure no engine damage occurs if some idiot doesnt use 91/93. Trust me with these running wide bands and running in closed loop at all times, they can compensate air, fuel and...
Let me lay some facts on this clusterfuck. These are the two max retard and max advance tables from a stock third gen NA coyote. The stock system is setup to be able to pull timing from -10 to add timing up to 10* as it sees fit using many (and I mean many) different spark and airload tables...
No it absolutely will not. Who the hell told you that lol?? You’ll be knock limited and you won’t get all the timing that is available from the knock add table. Lol where do you people come up with this shit? I swear these forums are just toilets of misinformation. You show me exactly where...
All plausable, but in my case I also switch to 2H and never run in 4A in sport. And my tire pressures are all 44psi perfect. Im quite anal about tire pressures...lol
