Sorry for not revisiting this, between the thrash to get ready for Moab and the trip itself I haven’t come back with the intended write up. Two separate companies, John split off from the “Currie Ent.” biz so that they could focus on driveline components and he could focus on the larger off...
  2. Finally Frame Mounted Sliders from LOD OFFROAD!!!

No concerns with fitting a skid under however there were several ledge pivots where I would have hung up on the channel protruding out and away vertically from the arm mount. Certainly something that can easily be cut off but also an easy redesign of the mounting point.
  3. Finally Frame Mounted Sliders from LOD OFFROAD!!!

Please take this as constructive feedback from someone who is very interested in the sig series for my 4 dr. It is disappointing that your marketing team would take the time to photoshop out the pinch seam in the online pics - would like to see from the manufacture the reality of the situation...

3 suggestions… Buy some tempered hardboard from Home Depot for template making, comes in different sizes and provides for a reusable template, plus easy to work with Lubricate your blade when working with alu. Lots of folks use beeswax, I usually just grab a bar of soap. Make yourself some of...
  6. Suspension options for BD

Did you happen to loosen the upper control arm through bolts, settle the suspension at the new ride height, and then re-torque them? If not, the NVH you are experiencing is most likely due to the UCA bushings being in a bind, creating unwanted preload on them.

  11. ford accessory full body skid plates question

4dr Ford part # is MB3Z-5D032-E which is available from any authorized Ford dealer. Fuel tank skid plate is included as well however not typically pictured. If you already have mod bumper and front bash plates then you would have an extra pair as part of this kit.

  13. NEW Addictive Desert Designs Bumpers Added! | Lethal Performance

Love that low profile stealth rear bumper, any way to get one without the holes punched for prox sensors?
  14. Auto Climate Control for Standard Package?

Possible but not entirely. The auto control is dual climate so there are two blend doors, blend door motors, two outlet temp sensors, etc. that simply don’t exist on the manual hvac. I have reviewed the wiring changes and Forscan differences between my base and models with included auto control...
  15. [too afraid to ask] Are leveling kits the new body lift?

Confirming that taking the upper control arm bushings out of bind (albeit minimal) completely resolved the increased NVH with the 1” lift. This isn’t an easy task but certainly worth the effort, for ref the UCA through bolt is 122 lb/ft torque. As an aside with regards to “leveling“ I installed...
  16. [too afraid to ask] Are leveling kits the new body lift?

My suspicion, one I’ll confirm in the next couple of days, is that this increased “harshness” is due to the upper control arm bushings. My assumption is that no one (including myself) is taking the extra time to back off the upper control arm bolt after level/lift to release added tension on the...

I’m running a Kicker 8” hideaway sub off of the rear high level inputs with only the EQ flat change at ACM 727-01-02. 2022 base for reference

@BigMeatsBronco, first off thank you for doing the exploratory work and sharing your findings of the forum! After doing some similar work on the front this evening I have a couple of questions. As for what I have done, I am running 315 Nitto TGs which are noticeably taller than the OE...
  19. Manual Sway bar disconnects

The stock “bolts”, at least in the case of Sasquatch Bilsteins, are not bolts at all but a press fit knurled stud. They measured 12mm by 90’ish long. These would not have grabbed the lower CA and allowed them to be torqued and likely would be long enough to cause concern with contacting the CV...
  20. Forscan rear, tailgate subwoofer, amp and rear quarter panel speakers

Driver side rocker area (image is rear driver door on a 4 door) is an easy place to pick these up. Both left and right run up and across the roll bar from here.
