So I wonder if that is just an error on Ford's part for their website or the pre-production Bronco pic above doesn't have the color match handles yet? I'm ok with the Gray top, but I would like the handles to match. Looks cleaner and has a higher end feel.
NONE of the fancy new gadgetry is required to be a seriously capable rock crawler. Experience goes a long way. Lockers and good underbelly/approach/departure angle will help make up for lack of experience.
All of the new off road tech stuff on the Bronco is just gravy, fun and cool to have. If...
Began as a Jeep guy, became a Toyota guy after constantly fixing Jeeps. I wanted something capable and reliable, so a Toyota made perfect sense. I love my 4Runner but if I’m honest, it is boring. I want something that excites me every time I sit in it or walk out to my driveway. It is more than...
Must be doing something right if they're still around. GFC have been around a little while, but not terribly long. They are known for their durability and streamlined design. Mostly a no frills, everything you need and nothing you don't kind of company. USA made too.
It will be my DD, but I am lucky enough to have access to a van-pool vehicle subsidized bu Uncle Sam to cover the mileage to and from work each day, preventing me from adding 60 miles on my rig each day in just commuting.
I do a fair bit of ff-roading but nothing like the Rubicon any more. I...
Super interesting! I don't know anything about Ursa Minor but I hope they are the same quality as GFC. GFC's are also super low profile, but Ursa Minor's don't look too bad. I'm just a GFC fanboy so I'd love the to build one as well.
Yeah, can you imagine how sick that would be? The total height, width and everything could be very close to the standard production roof, but maybe ever so slightly taller. I'd definitely be interested. It would cost a grip of cash, but many RTT systems or cab over campers already do. They could...
That is their Superlite RTT. I'd like to see them design an entirely new roof based off their Platform Camper. Then your Bronco could roll out with a setup like this:
It would be cool if they worked in conjunction with a company like GO FAST CAMPERS to make something with really clean lines, great functionality and all under warranty from the factory. I can't imagine a ton of people would buy it, but quite a few would.
Same here man. I’ve never ran beadlocks, never needed to and don’t want to start now, really.
I could see Ford going either way with this kind of stuff though, actual beadlocks or just beauty rings called beadlocks. ??
Correct, I’ve never heard of anyplace where beadlocks are legal on roads. But if their definition of “beadlock capable” is a rash ring you can install and replace as it scratches up, then they and I have very different definitions of what a beadlock wheel is.
I assumed Ford had developed a...
