  1. 2021 Bronco Build & Price pre-launch waiting room

My guess is they hit the holdiay weekend, so sometime between September 4-7. But "by September" means, no later than 1 September in my book.
  2. I would do this all day

So I wonder if that is just an error on Ford's part for their website or the pre-production Bronco pic above doesn't have the color match handles yet? I'm ok with the Gray top, but I would like the handles to match. Looks cleaner and has a higher end feel.
  3. Bronco Pricing Realities & Toyota Alternatives

Yes. This is what I refuse to settle on for my Bronco build: BL, 2.7/10spd, Lux, Sasquatch, Tow pack, Hard Top
  4. Question for the skilled rock crawler/overlander

NONE of the fancy new gadgetry is required to be a seriously capable rock crawler. Experience goes a long way. Lockers and good underbelly/approach/departure angle will help make up for lack of experience. All of the new off road tech stuff on the Bronco is just gravy, fun and cool to have. If...
  5. Bronco Pricing Realities & Toyota Alternatives

Began as a Jeep guy, became a Toyota guy after constantly fixing Jeeps. I wanted something capable and reliable, so a Toyota made perfect sense. I love my 4Runner but if I’m honest, it is boring. I want something that excites me every time I sit in it or walk out to my driveway. It is more than...
  6. Bored? Tired? Over it? Interest waning?

Yeah, just push the damn build and price already. Hard to plan for the unknown and I'm too impatient for this.
  7. Camouflaged topper on Bronco prototype a pop-up camper roof tent or power soft top?

Must be doing something right if they're still around. GFC have been around a little while, but not terribly long. They are known for their durability and streamlined design. Mostly a no frills, everything you need and nothing you don't kind of company. USA made too.
  8. Let's Be Honest About Our Intended Use

It will be my DD, but I am lucky enough to have access to a van-pool vehicle subsidized bu Uncle Sam to cover the mileage to and from work each day, preventing me from adding 60 miles on my rig each day in just commuting. I do a fair bit of ff-roading but nothing like the Rubicon any more. I...
  9. Camouflaged topper on Bronco prototype a pop-up camper roof tent or power soft top?

Super interesting! I don't know anything about Ursa Minor but I hope they are the same quality as GFC. GFC's are also super low profile, but Ursa Minor's don't look too bad. I'm just a GFC fanboy so I'd love the to build one as well.
  10. Camouflaged topper on Bronco prototype a pop-up camper roof tent or power soft top?

Yeah, can you imagine how sick that would be? The total height, width and everything could be very close to the standard production roof, but maybe ever so slightly taller. I'd definitely be interested. It would cost a grip of cash, but many RTT systems or cab over campers already do. They could...
  11. Camouflaged topper on Bronco prototype a pop-up camper roof tent or power soft top?

That is their Superlite RTT. I'd like to see them design an entirely new roof based off their Platform Camper. Then your Bronco could roll out with a setup like this:
  12. Camouflaged topper on Bronco prototype a pop-up camper roof tent or power soft top?

It would be cool if they worked in conjunction with a company like GO FAST CAMPERS to make something with really clean lines, great functionality and all under warranty from the factory. I can't imagine a ton of people would buy it, but quite a few would.
  13. Where have you been to?

    Correct.
  14. Why is the Sasquatch $2500 for Badlands?

Thank you! So you can mount tires normally to beadlocks AND run them as beadlocks if you choose. Glad to hear it!!!
  15. Potential Package (+ Sasquatch) Pricing Previewed in Bronco Reservation Survey Email

I asked @mrlevine on Instagram why not everyone received a survey. See below for response.
  16. Why is the Sasquatch $2500 for Badlands?

It’s all relative to the conversation.
  17. Why is the Sasquatch $2500 for Badlands?

I’m all about those Method wheel on the Cyber Orange 2 door on 37s. ?
  18. Why is the Sasquatch $2500 for Badlands?

Same here man. I’ve never ran beadlocks, never needed to and don’t want to start now, really. I could see Ford going either way with this kind of stuff though, actual beadlocks or just beauty rings called beadlocks. ??
  19. Why is the Sasquatch $2500 for Badlands?

Correct, I’ve never heard of anyplace where beadlocks are legal on roads. But if their definition of “beadlock capable” is a rash ring you can install and replace as it scratches up, then they and I have very different definitions of what a beadlock wheel is. I assumed Ford had developed a...
  20. Why is the Sasquatch $2500 for Badlands?

Thanks for the sheet. So is the “beauty ring” different from a beadlock ring?
